@jiri:

i did select the letter before clicking on find and ive tried it without klickin on "find device" and nothing happens with IDE drives.

Don't use find device, just select the drive letter above, that's it.

Hi!

this does not seem to work for me with IDE-Drives? Why?

I can configure a USB2 drive but not an IDE dirve. I've tried that with different ones and on a different PC.
IDE drives simply do not appear. After klicking on "find device" in "device configuration" there comes an Device ID but the device does not appear as the nod.

It works perfectly

Synchronize with Hard disk

To elaborate on Jiri's comment:

1) Map a drive letter to the intended directory using Windows (see: http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... 82&sd=tech )

2) Configure the Generic USB Plugin to synchronize to that drive (see: http://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/webhelp/n ... ration.htm )

Try this program, http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptreplicator.asp

This is possible using the USB plug-in, it can be configured to be used with any drive letter.

I want to keep my mp3 collection synchronised with another computer in the network for backup reasons. Is that possible ?
