I switched on bookmarks for Music, and then I noticed something:
the number of Plays has two decimal points added when you have partially listened to a song.

I'm now wondering if this means the bookmark functionality works by inspecting the percentage last played from the decimals on the #Plays field. If that's the case, I guess it can't be used as a start position, because it will be updated as soon as you listen to that song.

So, I would still like to add Start Time & Stop Time functionality to MMA feature request list... thanks!

I have the exact same issue. The Start/Stop Time is overlooked after every sync in MMA.

Here is something I did run across, if you have bookmarking enabled, it will start where it left off.

It should be possible via SQLite query to update the bookmark time to the Start Time, I just need to know what Tables and columns to update.

I don't think MMA has support for this.

I'm using MMW 4.1 build 1617 and MMA (on Samsung Note 2) syncing over Wifi and in general I am a very happy customer!

But: I have many tracks that I have set a "Start Time" and "Stop Time" in MMW (track properties > details tab). Playback in MMW works correctly, i.e. starts and stops at the times I've set for each track.

However, on [b]MMA, those tracks don't start at the Start Time I've set: they all start at 0:00[/b]. They also don't stop at the at the Stop Time.
So, either that metadata is not being synced to MMA, or if it is, then MMA is not observing those times for each track.

Can this be fixed in MMA, or in the sync metadata, or both?
