I didn't update my normal MM since the error occured, just installed the debug beta on another HDD. I tried both installations and it was not possible to reproduce the error. Maybe my reproduction is not 100% correct...

You may have been using an older version of MediaMonkey.

I tried to reproduce the problem with the debug beta and my stable version, but it seems impossible o.O MediaMonkey now cancels the podcast update automatically. I have no idea why it didn't work then a few days ago...

When the podcast directory entered in the options does not exist (anymore), you get, depending on how many podcasts have to be downloaded, a few dozens of COM Elevator Messages from Windows. I nearly got rid of MM because I was so frustrated with about 70 messages on every start.
The problem would be solved if MM would check if the download directory exists before updating podcasts.
