I'm curious how to submit the enhancement request for the ability to designate the ability to force relative paths for the music folder, similar to with an M3u playlist file. How can I do that? I have to manually change this every time I resync the usb stick.

To add to my own info, I took the USB stick that didn't have the drive letter at home, and tried it on my work laptop, with a clean install of MM, and it DID include the drive letter. Not sure why it didn't at home, but regardless, the ability to specify as a parameter or at least "Force Relative Paths" like on an M3U would be desirable.

One other thing I noticed, and I'm trying to figure this out too...with one of my USB sticks, the path contains the drive letter. I mentioned that. That should be configurable, I think. But the weird thing, is I have another USB stick, and when it syncs with MM, there is no drive letter.

So in one USB stick (SanDisk UltraFit 64GB), a song path looks like this:

I don't want the P: drive letter ref.

On the other stick, when I sync, with all the same settings, it creates the path like this

This is what is preferred. With M3U you can at least tell MM what to do. No idea why it's different for two different sticks, both using u_WMDM.dll.

Nothing you can configure, it looks like a bug to me.

They are created on the fly when AutoSyncing in mediamonkey, to a USB stick. Not to be confused with the FORD Sync system.

Here's an example of what I just got, syncing to a different USB stick for the main tag:

I searched and came up empty. I have occasioanal issues with the Ford Sync system telling me my playlists are invalid. I usually use m3u format. I know this is a Ford issue, but I'm thinking of trying ASX formatted lists, to see if that solves the problem.

Anyway, I was able to generate the ASX lists, and Sync recognizes them ok, but the TITLE tag in the playlists is just some randomly generate Alphanumeric value. No idea where MM is getting it. It might be something like CBE65 or ABDHY. Completely meaningless when you see it on the screen. I can manually edit the files, but that's a pain. I don't see any options for ASX playlists for USB devices, to change the value for title.

I was actually surprised, that even though the playlists contain the Drive letter (of the USB) stick, Ford Sync still finds the music in the \Music\ folder on the USB stick, ignoring the P: drive letter.

Anyway, I'm running MM version 4.1.6.1736.
