This problem goes back at least before v1.1.3.0508beta. MM may allow navigation across an external sd card, but this entire said version range crashes when adding ExSD locations as Library Folders. Upon following on-screen instructions, most recent beta versions result in this error: …"path [External SD Card formated volume name] was not requested"
Each successively older version was installed using this sequence: 1) Uninstall using App Mgr, 2) Reboot, 3) Install older version
Co-incidentally or not, the busy icon (sync status icon?) never stops on the home page header (3x5 grid: Albums .. UPnP)
VERY IMPORTANT:
How far back in the beta version history do we have to download for a beta version (or more importantly, a release version) without this problem? Other Play Store - published music player apps are successfully requesting, being granted, & allowing users productive External SD card access. FYI, I'm using a rooted marshmallow HTC M9.
