Then I updated to 2268. The issue persisted. And I remembered the previous issue with the About window. persistent.json removed, the error window is readable. (The content of the error window is irrelevant now.) So here is another "corrupted" json.

No, update has been performed first from 2266 to 2267. Issues persisted. Then the persistent.json had been removed.

Strange, we tried several times to replicate corruption of persistent.json without success. Can you please try to find or in which cases MM5 corrupts it after restart?

Thank you, dear Peke, for the suggestion. I had to delete also the persistent.json.bck to rebuild the "interface". Rebuilding helped and the "About" page is showing up with all information.
