Re: FortiClient issue - MM5 intends to remove directory

Milý Luďku, zdravím Tě do Brna :) Anyway, the MM5 instance stopped to communicate when deleting the 50k+ tracks. (white screen, no controls) So, to get the situation before the issue appeared: The MM4 DB has been freshly converted to MM5 DB and no issue appeared. I closed MM5, and archived the DB to...

Re: FortiClient issue - MM5 intends to remove directory

This is very MM5 issue and it occurred right away after I installed MM5 recently. The MM4 instance updates podcasts without the 'delete' prompt. So, I wouldn't remember, which podcast I deleted personally before this issue appeared. There had to be quite a lot deleted automatically: 30 pieces a week...

Re: FortiClient issue - MM5 intends to remove directory

The Podcast download location is set to C:\Users\Macarena\Music\Downloads\<Artist>\<Album>\<Title> I'll try also the following: make a backup of the whole MediaMonkey5 directory delete all available files in the library check on the issue send you a minimal copy of the DB If that fails, you'll get a...

FortiClient issue - MM5 intends to remove directory

Dear devs, I encountered the following issue with Win 10 v1903 MM5 5.0.0.2209 FortiClient 6.2.1.0831 Opening MM5 triggers podcast update and that is not finished due to MM5 wanting to delete a FortiClient certification(?) directory, see attachment. I have to press OK several times or OK to all once ...

Re: Library sharing improvements?

To me, this is one of the most requested and ignored features by the developers. (snip)..(snip) We are all tired of having to manage multiple 10000+ track databases or deal with the errors and risks associated with sharing them. Tried that, been there, learned not to share the database the hard way...

Re: MM 4.1.1.1703 Saving tags... forever

Dear rowingcowboy, The locked files were on the NAS, so an application called unlocker could not see and resolve the files. MM was closed, when I was trying to delete them. I could move the directories with the files in them (Podcasts), though. So, I moved them to a directory to remove in the future...

Re: MM 4.1.1.1703 Saving tags... forever

the podcast should be keep in the ini file. No, it isn't there. I could not find my podcast feeds in the Mediamonkey.ini file. They have to be bundled with the MM.db. as for the always running background processes those are mm doing its writing of the tags, i'd look at what is running in your syste...

Re: MM 4.1.1.1703 Saving tags... forever

Thank you! I am going to do it, but before it, I was just able to generae two error reports and send them to MM servers automatically. I remembered that the one thing I changed the previous day, was adding a podcast (BBC World News). I removed the podcast and closed MM (I still had to kil it). Now w...

MM 4.1.1.1703 Saving tags... forever

Dear devs, my MM 4.1.1.1703 is saving tags and that keeps forever. I cannot close MM during this process. It asks me, whether I want to close the application, while there are background processes. I say "yes" and MM seems to close, but it is still present in the icon tray and I can say "restore" to ...

Thanks Lowlander, I choose "beta testing" too quickly.
What can I do with this topic being in a wrong forum? Should I post a new one in the correct one?

Settings not saved unless MM is closed safely 2

Dear devs,

is there any chance that saving MM settings immediately after change is going to be implemented any time soon, please?

Thank you for listening!

search term must contain the beginning of the searched term

Dear devs, search expression does not list any results if the search string does not contain the beginning of the indexed terms. Example: An album named "O'Stravaganza" exists in my Library. Searching for O'Stravaganza: OK searching for stravaganza: OK searching for aganza: no results Is this a wish...
