Store Rating in DB rather than ID3?

my MP3 collection is shared at home and the rest also listens to it. Obviously not everyone has the same taste so I wonder if it is possible to have MM store the ratings for files in the database rather than the file itself. The rest does not always agree to my scores and vice versa :)

Re: Cue Reader 5.2 [MM2+3]

Because I'm a sucker for details I added a couple of lines to the MapXML function: If hold = "" Then hold = " " End If (Right before the MapXML = hold line) That way, if the field is empty, at least it will output an   in the table cell, keeping the table clean. Awesome script btw, really!

Re: Almighty CUE Lord now worx 4 u

Awesome script! Too bad that the "now playing" window just shows the complete MP3 and that you can't see the "sub-files" (and the playing one). THis would no doubt also solve the last.fm problem.

Re: CD Burn Speed list empty?

Your suggestion works so it's a temporary solution. Speed then only goes up to 20x (I normally burn at 32x or 48x), but lower is better no? :) As for a firmware, my recorders have the latest version I think (checked it when I bought them and updated it). Nero and Adobe Encore can both burn with the ...

CD Burn Speed list empty? [BUG# 5883]

Since a couple of versions, I can no longer burn CDs with MM. As soon as I insert an empty CD the dropdown with the possible write speeds becomes empty. According to the info pane next to it the Max Speed = 0 but it does report an empty CD-R inserted and so on. I assume the recorder just tells MM th...

Re: Cleanup Directory/File Format history?

Thanks! That did the trick.
Still, an easier way should be possible no? Why not implement the delete key for those selects? :)

The destination drop downs where you enter the masks for the filenames in the "Auto Organize Files" dialog for example, or "Auto-Tag from Filename"

Cleanup Directory/File Format history?

Is there any way to remove entries from the dropdowns (or otherwise clear them and start over)? I have some in there I don't use and the shift-del (or just del) approach doesn't work :)

Move & Keep stats intact?

Does the send to folder (move) option keep stats intact (like the Played# etc)? If not, is there a way to accomplish this? I want to move my entire library to another location but would like to keep everything intact.

Re: Locate current track?

I assume you are referring to the "General: Focus tracklist on currently playing..." action in the shortcut window. That seems to do what I want, thanks for that! However, I experience the behavior described in the linked topic as well on a regular bases. Seems to kick in as soon as you manually int...

Locate current track?

I usually have a whole lot of tracks queued and as soon as you scroll the "now playing" window, it no longer jumps on a track change.
Is there a shortcut or button somewhere to have it jump back to the current track?
