Re: can't see the player

You can try an interface reset: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/151/0/reset-mediamonkey-for-windows-interface-to-defaults The registry delete worked a treat! BTW, I found it best to manually navigate to the interface line rather than search. We now have a Pl...

Re: can't see the player

I read this (old) thread, and did the edits to Mediamoney.ini best I could but still no Player visible. The items in this thread no longer correspond to those in the ini file. In short, If I select View | Player, unselect, and re-select Player, nothing changes in the Mediamonkey window. No Player co...

Re: How do I use MM to rename my Ipod

I am using MM 3.2.5.1306 and while Win 7 and even iTunes sees my Nano as "NANO16", MM reports it as "USB Mass Storage Device (J:)". There is NO rename on right clicking the device in MM and there is no other way that I can can see for it to report it as what the system says it is "NANO16". I also ca...

Re: 3.2.6 Ipad 2 support??

Same problem for me. I'm running MM 4.0.0.1367 and IOS 4.3.2. MM sees the ipad2 just fine and transfers files dandy, but they don't show up on the iPod app (which I presume is where they should show up?). The iPad2 is new to me so I'm open to doing something dumb. I also note that like others, iTune...

Re: Re-synchronization changes

Something else may be changing dates on files maybe. I have not used iTunes or WMP or anything else that looks at my music. I specifically stop aps like VLC from seeing my music files. I just sync'd my iPod Nano 5G to update it with additional podcasts and MM copied 109 files to it, when only 40 wer...

Re: Re-synchronization changes

Absolutely sure. My music library changes very rarely, but I do add regular podcasts. When re-sync occurs, it is copying 99% music tracks.

Re-synchronization changes

I have a 3 iPods and a new Sony X Walkman. All appear to sync fine, but I note out that if I don't sync for a while (a few weeks to a few months) and only add a few podcasts to the MM library, MM3.2 (Windows 7) will often report it is removing content and then proceeds to sync hundreds or thousands ...

Re: iPod Nano 5G support

All solved. Running beta 1274 with a new d_iPod.dll from Jiri did the trick. I had previously copied the .dll to the root folder rather than the plugin folder.

The nano 5G now works perfectly.

Re: iPod Nano 5G support

My new Nano 5G now works perfectly thanks to 3.1.2.1274 and a new d_iPod.dll that Jiri has put up. WONDERFUL! No crashes and the iPod sees all the sync'd files. Didn't have to reset the Nano at all.

Re: iPod Nano 5G support

I'm now wondering what the differences can be between our environment? My 5G 16GB nano crashes MM 3.1.2.1273 every time I try and sync. With 3.1.21272, the sync happens fine but the nano doesn't see any of the sync'd files. Is there a right and wrong way to install 1273?

Re: iPod Nano 5G support

Hi Rusty Installed 1273 and MM crashed each time I tried clicked to sync the new 5G nano. Tried it 5 times with consistent response. Was there any manual steps required on install with dlls? Is there a step procedure that I should have followed? I did figure out how to capture a log and filtered it ...

Re: iPod Nano 5G support

I had no problems with lock-ups with my new 5G nano using 1272 with d_iPod.dll dated 8th October 2009. The test sync went fine except the 5G doesn't see any files at all. All the files on the 5G are however exposed and playable from MM. I can clean files off the 5G with no problems. (I did an earlie...

Re: Nano G5 and MM

Installed the latest beta (1272), reset the Nano G5, then sync'ed a few music tracks, an audiobook and a few podcasts and while MM said is synced fine and I could see all the tracks from MM on the Nano, the Nano said there was nothing there. zip.

Re: Nano G5 and MM

Can anyone tell me the status of MM's whizzes programmers support for the newish Nano G5? Bought one without checking here first - silly me. From what I've read, I assume it is a radically different beast to my Nano G4 (which MM supports beautifully!). I did try the latest beta with the new ipod dll...
