Re: Support for TSOA, TSOP and TSOT tags

It would be really good if support for these tags was added to the IPOD sync. It could be an option

Use Bandsorter/Albumsortorder tags if available

and presumably very little work.

Re: Two Albums Same Name

Ignore the same names problem. from Wikipedia Despite these updates, there are still issues with the iPod classic. An update still has not fixed an issue with Compilations and Cover Flow, which bundles those albums such as DJ mixes and "Best Of ___" albums. An option in iTunes allows you to fix this ...

Two Albums Same Name

I've got On the Beach By both Neil Young and Chris Read. When playing it via Coverflow there is are two albums which both contain the tracks off both albums.

Also unless I play the a song via coverflow I don't get the album art of the song playing.

FYI Ipod Classic 160G, firmware 1.1.1

Re: Get music only on left channel

Some mp3 input plugins will stream mp3's. I know for certain that the latest version of the Mad plugin does (though I have not tried it). That can be found here If you have music in other formats as well as mp3 then you need a dsp plugin or standalone. I use Edcast both the DSP plugin and standalone ...

no it provides a list of documents that do i.e. they have both string1 and string2 to give an example of what I regard as silly. John Henry amongst other things finds Honey, Just Allow Me One More Chance from The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan becasuse the producer contains John H. Hammond and the composer ...

Well in the search results node it says

Any text field contains "string1 string2"

and comparing it to google, its as if google found string1 in one document and string2 in another document and provided you with the list of webservers that satisfied this criteria

Is there anyway to get quick search to return by default any text fied that contains string1 string2 rather than the way it works which is any text field that contains string1 && any text field contains string2 rather than explicitly putting the double quotes around the query i.e. "string1 string2 ...

EAC is not difficult to configure. For example see this IMHO the best method for you would be to rip via EAC to flac. You sound like you have plenty of space. Even if you convert the flacs to mp3 to play it means you will never have to go through the pain of ripping again. EAC can use the ...
