I had the same issue when I also used an old CD-drive with AudioRipper to rip CDs. The problem was the dirty haed of the CD-drive which caused the drives head to read the same sectors again and again to get the info. In my case a lens-cleaning-cd helped for a while till I got a new drive.

i sucessfully used mixmeister on my mp3 to fill the bpm-field but when i rescanned them to my library my entries in the "genre" field were overwritten and filled with "unknown genre" . the bpm were filled in correctly... i used MM V2.3.1.832 no plugins/modifications.

its already in there. you can configure what will happen by doubleclick: edit oder play. check the configmenu in MM. cheers.

so its the right version you have.
make sure MM is allowed to access the internet. maybe you run a firewall in silent mode which denies MM to get data from amazon?

i am just a bit confused about this bpm issue, can someone make clear if this is the best way to show the exact bpm in mediamonkey: 1. scan certain mp3 with mixmeister, will scan exact e.g. "133,56" 2. scan these mp3 afterwards with mediamonkey 2.3 (2.2 cant do it?), will round up or down e.g. "133 ...
