Re: Discogs Tagger 5.40 (Updated: 2016-06-02)
Okay, reactivated IE so I could authorize the tagger. But can I do this???? I want the tagger to search for matches for all tracks in my library and show me recommended corrections, EXCLUDING difference in genre. I tried selecting a dozen tracks as a test, but it appears to only process one track at ...

Re: Discogs Tagger 5.40 (Updated: 2016-06-02)
Getting VBScript errors looks like something to do with InternetExplorer. This is after the message that after Aug 15 you need login credentials. Aug 15, what year? 2012? LOL. Obviously not a plug and play smooth install/setup for a new user like myself. I'm guessing it's trying to Open up the ...

What's the Best Auto Tagger?
I've used Jaikoz (external program) and the MusicIP and MusicBrainz. Can't remember which one did it but now I've got some tracks that where tagged as the wrong song. It's been SO long since I've used any of these I'm kind of lost. I just tried the MusicIP and it was 100% Failure! There's a question ...

Yep. As I suspected. The option is in the Groove app settings. Turned it off.

Re: Help! Lots of Duplicate Album Art Files
That's Windows Media Player. Don't let WMP or Windows manage your media files if you don't want this to happen. That of course begs the follow up question - how? I don't even have Windows Media Player installed on my Win10 setup. I only use Media Monkey to organize my stuff. Could it be the Groove ...

Help! Lots of Duplicate Album Art Files
I ran a dupe file checker and for all my MP3 album folders I've got multiple dupes of the folder.jpg file. My understanding is the folder.jpg file is created by Windows. Some folders also have AlbumArtSmall.jpg. Many folders have dupes of these two files but with cryptic filenames like: AlbumArt ...

Anyone use MM with Spotify?
Is there a way to sync (import) MM playlists into Spotify and can you update the playlists by re-importing, if so, is it easy or a pain?

Re: Best MM + Streaming Service Combo? Spotify? Google Play?
Well I guess the lack of responses really highlights how far we are from any product out there that is a true all-in-one, robust solution for most all users. As a side note as far as discovering new music, I can confirm I've put Pandora on the back-burner as my second favorite streaming service for ...

Best MM + Streaming Service Combo? Spotify? Google Play?
It seems to me that for the bulk of music users, the general direction is subscription services that stream pretty much anything you want from any place you have a connection. For a small amount of money $5-$10/month you get access to a huge library, ability to store songs locally to play when you ...

Playlist Synch with Android
I'm synching with and Android phone and I use Poweramp as my media player. Due to unreliability synching through USB I just pull my SD card and synch to that - it's faster anyway. Songs synch find and Poweramp picks up the new songs in a rescan. However, even though I see MM synching the playlists ...

Managing Separate Libraries
Is there info on a solution so that I can run production and beta and not have two separate library database files? Or is the only solution to backup the file(s) prior to installing and install beta over the production version?

Re: Smart Playlists Exported Differently Than Static?
Ya obviously an iTunes problem, but figuring out what iTunes doesn't like about the format is the question. Most messages here are concerning importing iTunes playlists to MM not the other way around. If I could find an m3u to csv converter then I could bypass iTunes. Isn't anywhere here using ...

Still empty after importing to iTunes. I unchecked relative paths to make sure that wasn't the issue.nohitter151 wrote:http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... es#p176832

Export Playlists to Spotify or iTunes
I give up! (for now) I don't use iTunes. How can I get my MM playlists into Spotify? What I've tried so far... Ivy Is Here http://www.ivyishere.org/ivy Just for giggles I tried an m3u file. Nope. Need an itunes or cs file. I exported playlists in MM to m3u and imported into iTunes. The lists were ...

Re: Smart Playlists Exported Differently Than Static?
Eh.. forgot that plugin duplicates all my songs! Not good when you have 20GB worth of songs. Back to the drawing board. I remember doing this a long time ago, I think I had to use a different format other than m3u to get exported playlists to go into iTunes with no problems?
