Re: Album Art Tagger 4.3 [MM2+3]

I find it confusing as well, because it uses negative logic, but it does actually make sense.

Re: Album Art Tagger 4.3 [MM2+3]

I have a question about linked album art. I know that MM has a table called Covers in MM 2.5 that keeps track of all artwork, whether embedded in the mp3 file or linked to. I know that images can be embedded in an mp3, but are link references also stored in the mp3 in addition to MM's Covers table? ...

Re: Album Art Tagger 4.3 [MM2+3]

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have done numerous tests on a small subset of files. Also will be doing backups first too! I checked out the potential problem with multiple files extracted. If I use the <path>\cover<*> mask, it will work as you say if there is multiple art within a single file. However...

Re: Album Art Tagger 4.3 [MM2+3]

My artwork is being stored and handled a number of different ways. I want to create a cover.jpg file for each album and be more consistent with artwork handling. Here is my plan: CURRENT SITUATION: - mp3 files are organized in \artist\album\ folders - some mp3 files have artwork embedded in files. o...

Peke, as one of those you originally replied to, I did not take your response personally. I just wanted to make sure that someone knew that this was a serious problem that I felt could and should be corrected.

I know how much you help around here. Please don't be too upset over it.

That is very strange indeed. I have been using the script for a year and never had this problem, yet it happened to me tonight, before reading your note! In my case, I was trying to update far more tracks than I normally would with the script. Darn!

P.S. The above post was made by me (roylayer), the original author of the script. I wasn't logged on automatically for some reason. <sigh>

New script: Moves initial prepositions and fixes case

Standardizes case for Artist, Album, and Titles: - Forces initial caps for most words - Forces all caps for words with all consonants. (Y is considered a vowel.) - Replaces backwards tic with forwards tic - Allows for exceptions to those rules Moves any initial preposition to the end of a field for ...

Roylayer's public subs and functions

These subs and functions are needed by some of my other scripts. They can either be copied into MediaMonkey init.vbs and be used by any script, or they can be copied directly into the scripts that need them. Public Function rdArrayPos(SrchArray, SrchStr) 'returns the position of SrchStr in the SrchA...

You may want to hold up on that. I've been working on that for the past several days. ;-) Actually, I already have that part done, but I want to combine it with a routine to Init Caps. (Yes, I know that one has already been posted here, but I have slightly different requirements from those that one ...

Thanks, docbobo. This could come in handy at times! Usually, I've been able to set track numbers via "tag from filename," but this could save me from having to do that step. I look forward to future updates. P.S. You might want to use the "Code" button in the forum to post your code. It should prese...

Jiri, I displayed itm.album.artist.name along with item.artistname in a message box, and both displayed the Song artist name. (I chose a song with different Song and Album artist names.) I was surprised as well. It's possible that I did something wrong, but, like you say, it really doesn't matter si...

Pablo, I suggested the exact same thing within the last month or so in the Wishlist forum. (The thread should still be there somewhere.) A standard already exists for doing something like this. Jiri has it on the "wish list" but doesn't know when it will be implemented. There are a lot of other requ...
