How to use MM playlists with Plex
Mediamonkey has always been my digital jukebox. I've created a lot of M3u playlists of favorites. I'm going on a long trip and would like to have the ability to play my local media including playlists remotely over the internet. I've setup a Plex Media Server on my Windows computer and installed the ...

Re: How to Never Alter Music files
Thanks for the reply.
I didn't have infer track properties disabled so I changed that option.
Would making music files and folders read only prevent them from being altered without adversely affecting Mediamonkey?

How to Never Alter Music files
I always use Tag&Rename for tagging and I also won't to prevent MMW from ever altering files. I've disabled auto organize and unchecked level track volume and prevent clipping. Is there anything else that I need to do?

Is the Gilded skin available for 4.1? I tried the portable version and couldn't find it.

WASAPI exclusive while recording WMC TV
Please answer a quick question if you can. If I'm listening to MediaMonkey in WASAPI exclusive mode while recording a TV program in the background with Windows Media Center will the finalized TV recording be soundless? Thanks.

Stream music OK--Stream video no go
With Windows Media Player I am able to stream music and video to my Samsung DLNA playing HDTV. With MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1424 (and XBMC) I am able to stream music but not video. The Samsung HDTV shows the video file names playing results in an unsupported format message. I do not understand what I am ...

Re: [MM2+3] Change Drive-ID after moving Files to a new Driv
I love MM and thanks for the script. I am running both MM3 and MM4 on a cloned drive in Windows 7. The change drive-ID script has been installed for each MM version. When I ran the script for MM3 I was given two unlabeled "from" options and and three labeled "to" options corresponding to drive ...

Re: remove "Track Volume" setting on multiple Tracks?
Could someone please tell me why it would ever be desirable to remove the track volume setting. I thought the setting would alter the bit stream only when the volume leveling option is checked. Is there a downside to analyzing tracks?

Re: Handling m3u files with the wrong path
Well... I'm a total noob re MM scripts. I finally decided to try editing each m3u with Notepad++. Even though I had never used Notepad++ the process was extremely simple. Open the file and replace all C:\ with G:\. Notepad++ even remembers the replace parameters when subsequent files are opened. I ...

Handling m3u files with the wrong path
Please help me find a simple solution to the following problem. I have m3u playlists created by MM on a WinXP boot drive. The songs on the playlist reference a C drive. I would like to either play or import the playlists in MM on a Windows 7 boot drive but the embedded paths are no longer valid. I ...

I am now using DbgView to create the log file and I'll send to the help desk when finished.
Edit: I sent a support ticket and browsed to the log file and submitted the log and a copy of my first post in this thread. I also included my email address.

Re: Why is MM3 so easy to crash?
OK, I installed the same latest MM3 with bug reporting and purposely locked MM3 as described above. After a while the report window opened but when I tried to use it the window started flashing like crazy and a lot of duplicate items appeared on the task bar. Eventually I was able to send the report ...
