Has this been registered as a bug? Or do you need more information?
Thanks.

FYI: Here's another person who had a similar "Access violation at address 708B1EAF in module 'in_mfaudio.dll'" problem:

Re: 4.0.5 Bug: Persistent random crashes
Just had another MM crash (Windows stays up and responsive). This time, the MM Report Error dialog came up. Unfortunately, I clicked on "Tell me more about this problem" link. This brings up the error info, but when I clicked [OK] on that dialog after viewing the info, the original Error dialog also ...

Re: 4.0.0.1448 : Fails to start after installation
Don't know if this makes a difference, but the previous working version that was installed was installed as "Non-skinned", whereas the new non-working version was installed as "Overwrite windows theme (skinned)".

Re: 4.0.0.1448 : Fails to start after installation
I've downloaded and installed the latest 1449_debug version. Same thing happens.
I've opened a ticket (id= 13418), and uploaded the .elf file there.

Re: 4.0.0.1448 : Fails to start after installation
Hi NoHitter, I'm on XP, and there is no indication in the post you pointed me to, as to where MediaMonkey.elf is located (only portable and Win7 locations are listed) . I've search a number of places and can't find it. Where is it supposed to be? I don't specifically have the _debug version. Do I ...

4.0.0.1448 : Fails to start after installation
I've just installed 4.0.0.1448.exe over the top of an existing and working 4.0.0.1439. Now, when starting MM4, the splash screen comes up for a few seconds, the icon appears in the sytem tray, and then the computer plays the "bump"(something failed) sound, and the startup of MM4 quits, before ...

Re: Backup Playlists 2.2 - Updated 18/10/10
I'm trying to install this into MM3 v3.2.2.1300 but I'm getting a "Product Installation Error". Any ideas?
Also tried the older v2.1 and got the same thing.
Thanks .

Re: static sound on mm 3.0.3
This may not be precisely relevant to your issue, but thought I'd post it anyway... I was plagued with a similar "static" noise - I'd also describe it as "high pitched whining". Basically, it sounded as if the sounds of the internal workings of the machine had leaked into the sound lines. I tried ...

3.0.3.1183 Bug: Duplicate song created in DB
Steps to reproduce: 1) I selected, say, 30 tracks and did an auto-organise (ctrl-R). 2) After clicking OK, the Path field of the tracks could be seen changing one at a time, around 1 per second. Not sure why it was going so slowly, but I have been having some temporary lock-ups with one of my drives ...

Yes, I think it was AAC+. Is that not supported?
