Re: How can I refresh the contents of an imported m3u playlist?
The problem for me is that I sync some of the imported playlists to my mobile phone. When I delete the imported playlists in MM and rescan it is refreshed in MM, but they are removed from the list of playlists to sync with my mobile phone. I have to add all the playlists again. It would be nice to ...

Re: Stop creating "Sync Folder" on all connected devices
I'm running MM 4.1.7.1741 on Windows 8.1 and it's still creating the directories when I insert a USB stick and MM is running. This was also happening when I had MM 4.1.6.1736 installed. I exited out of MM, deleted the folder from the drive, but when I started up MM again the folder came back.

Re: New install .. still can't install service
I kept getting the error that it failed to install due to invalid login as well. I got it to work by going into the Windows Services Microsoft Management Console and re-entering my password. After installing it as a service in MM : 1. Click on Start and search for "Services" 2. Click on "Services ...

Galaxy S3 slow listing playlist
I'm using MediaMonkey 4.0.6.1501 to sync music and playlists to my Galaxy S3 (ICS 4.0.4). I'm syncing to the phone's 32GB memory and not the SD card. Everything works great and I have all my songs and playlists. However, when the Music Player app is on the "Playlists" tab it takes a long time to ...

Re: Audio Cd burning - incorrect gaps
I'm having the same problem when I burn an audio CD. I'm running MediaMonkey 4.0.6.1501 and the next song starts at the end of the current song and gets progressively worse with each track. I was hoping to use track-at-once to insert the 2 second gap, but I can't set CD-Text options for the burned ...

Re: syncs playlists but can't see them on Android Galaxy S2
SOLVED IT! Downgraded to MediaMonkey version 4.0.2.1462. Everything works perfectly again. Hope this helps someone else out there. Thanks, ScottTanner. I was going nuts trying to get playlists to work. Thought I broke something because I went to ICS and then back to Gingerbread. Tried different MTP ...

Re: Determine the time it took to auto sync to device
but as to how long the time will take to move or move and reformat the song to place it on your portable device is up to the systems cpu and speed of hd's and how much ram is free to work with. which makes it hard for any program to guess at which time in seconds it will take to get them on the ...

Re: What media player for android?
I use Mixzing as my media player and like it a lot. I ended up buying the full app. Using MM and Mixzing all the album art and track info works when I sync. The interface is decent and presents the usual lists by Artists, Album, Songs, Genres, Playlists. Lists are only sorted alphabetically based on ...

Re: Auto-Sync WITH duplicates
Another reason the Folder (Rip/Convert) option isn't ideal is it converts EVERY track. I have both FLAC and MP3 files in my library, but the playback device doesn't support FLAC. So I just want FLAC files converted before they're copied. Auto-Sync lets me specify compatible formats for the device ...

Auto-Sync WITH duplicates
I'm trying to Auto-Sync a bunch of playlists to a USB drive. The music will be used on a device which does not support m3u playlists. In Device Configuration I setup the destination directory structure to be \Music\<Playlist>\<Title> so I can play my "playlist" by playing songs in a directory ...

Auto tag song writer?
Is there a way to have Media Monkey populate the Composer field with the song writer when I auto tag from the web? My music library originally started with Windows Media Player and those tracks have that information. New albums that I've ripped and auto tag with MM don't have it. I trying to create ...

Re: Option to re-rip while keeping database info
Add me to the list of users who would love to have a re-rip option. I'm re-ripping my collection to flac but having to re-enter ratings, album covers, and meta data is a PITA.

Re: Syncing tracks from virtual CD
I have MediaMonkey 3.2.2.1300. I have the Moto Droid (original) using as d_USBMass1.dll driver and have the same problem. With Auto Sync I don't have an issue syncing songs and playlists . However, if I select a song that was ripped to Virtual CD Library and right click -> Send To -> DROID ...
