Re: Help w. Genre Dropdown?
No, MediaMonkey shows the genre's that are currently used by your music collection. Other than deleting the genre from your songs there is no way to remove genre's from the list. You can use multiple values for genre's, just add ; between genre's like pop;rock;rap. This will list the song under ...

Re: Help w. Genre Dropdown?
I found a Microsoft Access document in the MediaMonkey Program Folder, when I open it I see a list of genres... but some genres which I'm pretty sure are in my database are not in this document. Also, I was unable to locate the Mood database within the Access document. I'm going to look around some ...

Help w. Genre Dropdown?
I would like to be able to create my own genre and mood drop down list instead of populating with the genres in my tags.. is this possible? EDIT: I tag these 2 fields w/ data from AMG and they usually have multiple values, I want to be able to enter these multiple values so that an album can be ...

AllMusic.com Script to Import Reviews?
Is there any better way, beyond Websearch Panels, to get Allmusic.com reviews into the comment section of my tags?
Also it'd be great to get the Mood column into my tags as well...
Any suggestions?

Re: iTunes Album Art To MM
Here is the only solution, beyond doing it file by file, that I've found: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t54818.html Unfortunately it sounds like this dumps all of the generically named art files into one folder... Hopefully someone will come up with a solution at some ...

Re: iTunes Album Art To MM
Hi, iTunes does embed artwork - it places artwork in external files when Coverflow is enabled. The proprietary format is only an additional header to a JPG/PNG file and can be converted successfully. Daz I'm very interested in this, are you aware of a tutorial on how to accomplish this? If not are ...

iTunes Album Art To MM
I've been trying for a while now to make MM recognize the high quality album art that iTunes embeds into tags. Everything works fine in iTunes, but when I "add/rescan" the track into MM it refuses to recognize it. Infact I tried to clear out all of the album art from the tags with Album Art Tagger ...

I poked around a bit and here are some editing solutions: http://www.deepniner.net/mp3trimmer/ http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-Audio-Dub.htm http://mpesch3.de1.cc/ http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html http://www.wavosaur.com/ I can't pretend to know how well any of these programs ...

Re: skipping defined sections of a song.
Have you tried using Audacity?
It seems like you should be able to just edit the MP3 using that.
I feel pretty confident that an editing solution is going to work much better than a scripting solution in this case.

Is there not a reliable database of Vinyl, 8-track, and Cassest releases on the web somewhere?
If there was would it be possible to write a script that checks each resource in chronological order so that it pulls out the earliest possible date?

Re: Missing Album Art 1.0 [MM2]
Just realized the power of Nodes today and this is the first thing I went out to search for... any chance of an update soon? Or is there some other solution that will do the same in Magic Nodes?
I looked throught the treads for Magic Nodes and didn't see anything.

Re: Artist Top Tracks via Last.fm (1.14) (2008-01-20) [MM3]
All I get when I click on the TopTracks D/L link is a page filled with unrecognizable characters... no download, no installer.
Is this some fault of my browser?
I'll try it using a different one.
EDIT: Downloading w. IE gives me a .zip which I can't seem to do anything with.

Possible To Switch B/t "Profiles"?
I just started using MM again after discovering the v3.0 release (vast improvement). I really love all of the different windows (prettypictures, Monkey Roc, Web lookup, ect...), but not all of them are useful all of the time. Is there a way to create "Profiles" and switch between them? For instance ...
