Two computers, one playlist?

I have two computers, each with MM installed. Using PC1 (WIN7) I collect music by downloading, copying LPs and CDs, etc. So that I can enjoy the music on PC2 (WIN10) also, I've designated M/Music Files in PC1 as a drive to be shared via Wi-Fi. This was successful: MM on PC2 will play tunes I select ...

Re: what songs give you the chills?

"The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress" by Radka Toneff.
This song has brought the best out of a number of good voices, including Linda Ronstadt, Renee Fleming, Judy Collins, and the author, Jimmy Webb. Thank you, Jimmy. It always gives me a tingle.

Re: Ability to apply one top bar as template to all.

Love it; I want this too!
It seems natural to use the same headings for every file list, though I realize it is nice if humans who are not me can do theirs differently..

Re: Playlists (i havent a clue what im doing)

You may get a better answer to this, but I right-click on a song then on the properties, then on the Classification tab and delete the appropriate entry under that tab (i.e. delete the song from a listed playlist).

Re: Anyone use "FastStone Capture"?

Sent email. No response so far, but will post here if I get something. Maybe the discontinuance of the free version is a sign that we should switch to HyperSnap.

Re: Anyone use "FastStone Capture"?

I have Windows 7 and the free version of FastStone. It works the same for me as you describe. Copies everything on the screen when scrolling, including frames. In addition the scroll function does not work well for me; the resulting copy has horizontal gaps and/or lines in it. However it works great...

I've lost my Recently Added playlist

Somehow I apparently pushed an incorrect button and the "Recently Added" playlist is gone. Is there a way to reinstall it, or a way to design an autoplay list to replace it?

Re: Can anyone point me to a skin with a large font?

I agree. Even for normal PC use I would like a skin with a big font because my eyesight is not what it once was.

Re: Looking for Big Bottoms

I like big bottoms also. A skin with big buttons would be very helpful to us elderly music lovers with poor eyesight.
The developer could put in for a Government grant for improving accessibility (joke).

Re: Some questions

Thanks for the quick responses. As to "inside or outside MM" -- Outside MM I rip or download tunes to a "holding" folder. Then outside MM I right-click on music files in that folder and click on "Play in Media Monkey." Then within MM if I like the music I right-click on the file or files in the Now ...

Re: Some questions

3) No, playing files won't add them (undesirable for many) instead you need to add them: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/WebHelp:Adding_Existing_Files_to_the_Library/4.0 This is confusing. I have never dragged-and-dropped or scanned any folder -- the only methods I see in the wiki referen...

Search Window default settings

Can the Search Window be set to open with "Music" in the default position in the Search box at the top instead of "Entire Library?" I'm willing to edit a file if necessary.
