Re: Suggestions For Portable MP3 Player?
I have an iPod Touch, and I'm starting to find myself frustrated personally. MM doesn't sync video, so I was using iTunes to sync my video podcasts. But somewhere along the line album art started getting all screwed up. So I switched to iTunes. But with Apple locking out third-parties upon updating ...

All at once: very cool! Thanks so much for your help; for someone like me who is vbscript illiterate, this is VERY helpful!

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.5 w/ 101 presets (2009-06-18)[MM2+3]
ZvezdanD, thank you for the reply. I figured RegExp could do this, but I couldn't figure out how to make it work with the fields I wanted to work with. I've no knowledge of VBscript. I don''t think I need it to check for empty fields, and I didn't realize I could get it to append BOTH the Mood AND ...

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.5 w/ 101 presets (2009-06-18)[MM2+3]
Just wondering if it is possible to append one field with another field. I would like to take the information in fields such as "Mood" and "Tempo" and append the data in the field to the Grouping field, ideally putting a comma and then a space before the data is added to the Grouping field.

Re: iPod Touch Corrupted Album Art
Jest, I think you might be onto something. Because that would go along with my experience—itunes didn't have a chance to do a scan for gapless playback of the MM tracks that I'd synced to my touch, but I did have video podcasts on the device (they were restored when I restored my touch). And, to g ...

Re: iPod Touch Corrupted Album Art
nohitter, hate to play devils advocate, but I just experienced the same thing and came to the opposite conclusion: Due to a misunderstanding on my part that iTunes needs to be installed for MM to recognize my iPod Touch, I uninstalled iTunes and woke up one morning to find that my Touch did not sync ...

Re: MM not detecting iPod Touch
No, I uninstalled it from the PC, and am using it sole on my Mac. Is that the problem? Itunes needs to be installed for MediaMonkey to sync with it?

MM not detecting iPod Touch
Two weeks ago I plugged my iPod Touch in to sync with MM like I have been for awhile, but when I woke up in the morning I found that there was nothing on the iPod. Nothing. No songs, no podcasts. Nothing. MM had synced all the metadata from the tracks that were on it, erased everything from the iPod ...

Re: iPod Touch Corrupted Album Art
"c) Make sure not to use both iTunes and MediaMonkey to manage audio files" I gotta agree. Apple has made it REALLY difficult NOT to use iTunes for some things. MM is much better at managing the music (as I found out the hard way), but I still need to use iTunes to sync my calendar, my contacts and ...

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.2 w/ 90+ presets (2009-01-20)[MM2+3]
I'm not very familiar with regular expressions, so I need some help with RegExp. Wondering how to do the following: 1. Copy/Move the Custom 1 field to the Grouping field 2. Append the Grouping field with a new word, preferrably adding a comma or semi-colon between the word and the original content ...

Auto Delete Podcast Tracks that are Rated
Noticed that MM can automatically delete podcast tracks based on the rating: "Delete episodes... only if rating is less than..." Am wondering, if I were to set the rating to three, will this delete episodes rated three and less, retaining four through five; or will it retain three through five and ...

MM not deleting playlists on iPod Touch
Have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and whenever I rename a playlist within MM, the playlist does not get deleted. The renamed playlist is synced with the iPod, and the tracks are added, but the playlist with the old name is also retained, along with all of its old tracks. Wondering what I can do to fix ...

Ignore Errors
Is there a way to automatically ignore error messages, so that my syncing continues and doesn't hang waiting for me to tell some error message to "cancel", "try again" or "ignore". I'm getting tired of the error messages haulting my ipod from syncing overnight....
