Re: Volume mute

Vitreous does have a volume bar. The equalizer is right inside of it. Unless I've been missing something the volume bar, using the "Vitreous" skin is contained within the equaliser (I referred to it in my 2nd post). Something strange, though, is that having checked again each of the separate column...

Re: Volume mute

http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=90 Many thanks for taking the time to respond. However, when I tried to follow the very first instruction "first disable the equalizer & dsp plugins (via Tools > Options > Player > DSP Plugins)" I could find no...

Re: Volume mute

Having posted that I'd managed to solve it I now have a related problem! Yes I now can hear what's playing but when I tried to increase the volume I've had no joy! If I attempt to use the equaliser controls and take the setting above 0db, the volume rises but the distortion is ridiculous. My settin...

Volume mute

I've just installed MM 4.0.7.1511 and am having a problem with the Mute (On/Off) control on the equaliser. I'd been looking for the volume control which used to exist (maybe still does, but I can't find it) in previous versions of MM and clicked on "Volume Bar" thinking that may be it. BIG mistake, ...

Restart the PC and run the MM installer without running MediaMonkey first.
Many thanks for that, everything went like a dream.

Problem updating to MediaMonkey 4.0.7.1511

I, recently, ran a factory restore on my laptop and reinstalled MM from the set up I'd saved previously. This, though, was only the 3.2.2. 1300 version and so (as expected) I received a notification that an update was available and I downloaded it. Unfortunately when I ran the set up file I received...

Re: Displaying almum art

That's the Art & Details window you're looking for. In the Player it depends on the skin if it is shown or not. Thanks for the reply but I still have a problem. When I click menu/view/Art & Details my screen looks as below: http://www.freeimagehosting.net/t/9xlwb.jpg From this you will see that it ...

Displaying almum art

Could you, please, tell me how to get my album art displayed underneath the media tree and also at the bottom right of the screen (next to the shuffle button) - every attempt I've made just ends up with the album art appearing in place of the details or alongside them.

Many thanks in advance.

Re: Displaying columns etc.

[quote="nohitter151"]You need to go to the "View" menu and change from "Show art browser with details" to one of the other views. Also your art & details window is stretched very large, so you should shrink it by grabbing the edge of the grey area (to the left of the disc/music note image).[/quote M...

Re: Displaying columns etc.

Does anything show if you right-click the black area? Your columns are actually showing, but only in an extremely thin area between the media tree and the big black area. Almost like another screen has been stretched on top of the main library view. When I loaded MM to try and answer your question ...

Displaying columns etc.

I've been using MM for a few years and recently downloaded 4, without experiencing any major problems. I needed help to position the album art correctly, but apart from that I had no problems. However, I now need help! I restored my laptop to factory setting and had to reinstall MM. Now, I cannot fi...
