Re: 1267: UAC and COM errors with Windows 7
Problem was resolved for me with 1275 and maybe 1274. Situation was confused by Windows 7 remembering compatibility settings from one install to another. I had set some setting with an earlier release to try to solve these problems and the settings didn't get reset even with a clean install to the ...

1267: UAC and COM errors with Windows 7
I am running Windows 7 RTM (Technet release) and having two problems with MM: 1) UAC alert every time I start MM. 2) Four System Log entries every time I start MM. This seems to be the same problem I saw reported in another thread about errors with Vista. Is there any way for me to mark MM or MM ...

Re: Transfer DB between computers
Thank you; that looks like it will take care of the DB nicely. I just realized I also have to replicate scripts and other customizations I have made to MM. Do you have any suggestions about the best way to approach that? EDIT: Looks like copying the Media Monkey INI file and the complete scripts ...

Transfer DB between computers
I use MM 3.1 and have subscribed to about a dozen podcasts with new files arriving daily for some and infrequently for others. My total mp3 collection is about 70 GB. I want to transfer my complete database and mp3 collection to another computer, and retain the correct status of podcast ...

Launch an editor from MM?
I'd like to be able to launch a track editor (Audacity) from MM for a selected track. Is there any way to do that? Has someone written a script that will do that? My goal is to use MM to locate the track I want to edit, then edit the track and save it in a different location.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Seems to be the same behavior I reported in http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =6&t=38343Starbuck wrote:I tried replicating this when closing mediamonkey today. Task manager shows mediamonkey still running in memory.

1228: Mediamonkey.exe fails to terminate [audioburst.dll]
I've been having problems since early releases with mediamonkey.exe failing to terminate when I close Media Monkey. The process remains in the task list. On shutdown, Windows presents a dialog asking whether mediamonkey.exe should be terminated. If I'm not at the computer, the shutdown process ...

1227: Burn Another Copy doesn't work BUG#5386
After using Tools/Burn CD, burning completes and a dialog is presented with two options: Done or "Burn Another Copy." Click on "Burn Another Copy" and the dialog dismisses but another CD is not burned. There is an exception in the log. I started the log just before pressing the "Burn Another Copy ...

Re: Custom Report 2.0 [MM2+3]
@GuyScharf - just a note that the new "I" format should cover your own "HF" format. The mask is in the MM format so yours would be "%A/%L/%F.%E". Thank you. That's a powerful addition and works for me. I'd like to offer a few suggestions for future improvements: 1) When printing the Year field ...

SongData from track ID?
Is there any way I can create a SongData object if all I have is the track ID? I know that I can find the database record using SQL, but I'd like to get a SongData object so that I have access to all methods and fields easily without laboring over the SQL.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Custom Report 1.9 [MM2+3]
fwiw, here are the two lines I added to implement an "HF" format to create a hyperlink to the file. The solution is special-purpose and not generalized to allow the path to be specified in the format specification itself. I could have done something fancy like having a file mask like MM uses ...

Re: Custom Report 1.9 [MM2+3]
@GuyScharf - thanks for report this, I will try to get this resolved in the next version. As a temporary fix, around line 700, I simply changed HTML processing so that str was not processed through MapXML. I did not study the program in enough detail to know whether I might have broken something ...

Re: Custom Report 1.9 [MM2+3]
I just started using Custom Report. I am running beta 3.1.0.1219 and Custom Report 1.9 (downloaded last night). "H" formatting isn't working properly when output is to an HTML file. The MapXML function converts the "<", ">" and " characters to their ampersand HTML equivalents, which of course must ...
