[MM2] Level volume while synchronizing a device?
I am curious to know if there is a method to level the volume of a track as you synchronize it to a portable media player in MediaMonkey 2.5 (I am not interested in MM3). I don't want to change the bit rate or format of the tracks (they are already compatible lossy MP3s) and I don't want to level ...

Fenrir, let me make this clear... there is no new version. The last one was released in December 2006, it does NOT work with MM3 at all (But I still use it because 2.5.5's better anyway), and the search function doesn't work because the scripts are outdated. I've tried to update them but I'm not ...

After installing MM3 I was very disappointed in MM3's performance, GUI, incompatibility with WST, and general oddities. After he installed MM3, a friend of mine begged me to get the MM2.5.5 final installer for him. I installed version 3.0.2.1134 today but I haven't played with it enough to really ...

First and foremost, I never meant to get everyone riled up. You guys are blowing things out of proportion; I simply wanted to state I was dissatisfied with the three default skins for MM3 and ask if there was a skin that changed the GUI to look exactly like "Blue Monkey", the default skin for MM2 ...

All right, so we can end this pointless quibbling, I'll say it a bit more nicely. My first post was meant to be frank and blunt, not politically correct. *Ahem*, "I am particular to the interface from the MM2 series and am disappointed in the changes made to the interface for MM3. Had I wanted my ...

Classic style skins
I would love skins to make MM3 look like the MM2 series... Honestly the whole OMG VISTA! thing looks terrible. None of the skins that come with the player look even halfway decent, and the taskbar icon was changed too. I loved the look and familiarity of the old blue player, why did it have to be so ...

I looked through those... aside from the implementation for foobar (which I obviously don't use) there isn't anything actually produced, just promises. I'd much rather manually search for albums on Discogs and use WST's barely working scripts than their API. Then I'm not bound by their 5000 hits ...

Steegy, apparently there's been some code changes in the Discogs layout. There are example scripts at Mp3tag that supposedly fix the problems, but they are incompatible with the current installment of Web Sources Tagger. I tried to copy/paste segments to make a script for WST but that didn't work; I ...

It has to do with Microsoft's MTP protocol, which the Zen uses in place of an original protocol to be listed as a Windows-ready device. This protocol allows a media player to have its own file system, but comes at the cost of not mounting as removable storage device (such as an external hard drive ...
