Re: iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0 Firmware isn't compatible with MM

only affects those with the iPhone software upgrade, which isn't free if you remember Actually, for the iPhone, the 2.0 software upgrade is free. You only have to pay for it on the Touch. So that's around 14 million iPhone 2Gs that have or will get the software update and around 4 million iPhone 3G...

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0 Firmware isn't compatible with MM

I think MediaMonkey should start by releasing an update that prevents corrupting iPhones with 2.0 firmware. If/when the new hash is broken, then release a second update that allows sync with the 2.0 firmware. You need to look at this from a customer perspective. Our first priority is that we don't w...

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0 Firmware isn't compatible with MM

Same problem here. Synced fine with iPhone v1.3, but didn't actually sync with 2.0 although it said it did. And it caused my iPhone to no longer sync with iTunes. I had to do a complete restore and lost some stuff that was on there. So not only does MM not sync with iPhone 2.0 software, it breaks th...

I've done some more thinking on how to determine which replay gain setting to use and when, to automatically give the best results with no user intervention or configuration. Let me know what you think. If there is album (audiophile) replay gain but no track (radio) replay gain, use album replay gai...

I too have been using EAC because of this feature. However, I just switched over to dbPowerAmp Music Converter because AccurateRip is more tightly integrated and included by default, plus the interface is better. But as soon as I'm done ripping, I switch over to MM to tag, get cover art, and play. W...

i thought that was taken care of when you normalized the songs. and when you opened them in the wav editor before you converted them to the format you want to keep them in? is that what your talking about if not then i am in need of more explaining. Well, not exactly. It has nothing to do with genr...

My idea was to (optionally) analyze whole albums when you start volume leveling calculation in MM and store the value to the standard Track Replay Gain field. This way there wouldn't be any need for switching title/album mode and tracks would be always played at proper volume. Any thoughts? Jiri I ...

AccurateRip support for bit-perfect CD ripping

Is there any chance MM could add this feature? I currently use ExactAudioCopy for this and I know that the DB Power Amp ripper has support for it as well. It's just that it would be nice to everything within MM, but I understand that there are a bunch of requests to consider. BTW, the website for Ac...

"Audiophile" Replay Gain is definitely something we would like to implement, it isn't anything hard from the algorithmic perspective, but there's a number of problems in how to implement this so that it's easy to understand and not confusing option that would only clutter the UI. Anyway, it will co...
