Re: Custom Fields under the Classification node?

If you enter what you want in the "Custom Field Headings" boxes that are located by going to Tools/Options/Library/Appearance and then restarting does that solve your problem? I'm no expert but it seems to be a reasonable guess. These Custom Field names here are configured since several years now. ...

Shortcut Keys

I notice that sometimes shortcut keys just disappear. I was working through my collection, trying to sort out some meta data, using shift+enter to open properties, alt+enter to play and ctrl+shift+v to analyze track levels. Suddenly this stopped working, and when I right click on a track, I see that...

Re: sorting across multiple columns

Although it doesn't work completely.

I did Album Artist, Date, Album, Disc and that was fine, however then adding track as final sort overwrote the album sort.

Re: Support for Tapatalk

I read forums online, but with about 20 different ones signed up for tapatalk is my only way to get notifications of answers or updates to threads I am interested in.

Would be very interested to see this for sure!

Re: Manage FLAC plus MP3 Libraries with Single Database?

Having delved somewhat deeper, it seems that collections might be the best way to manage this, although one can't use that to maintain a link between multiple files and one set of meta data...

Manage FLAC plus MP3 Libraries with Single Database?

1. I have most of my music in a flac folder. 2. I then have MP3 rips of that in a flac-mp3 folder 3. I then have another mp3 only folder for music I never had the CD for (eg Amazon downloads) My Mediacentre will play from 1 and 2, and I sync my portable devices with 2 and 3. However if I want to cha...

Re: Tagging Art

I am using version 3.0.7.1191

I am not tagging in any particular place, just searching and then tagging - i guess i do it in the library node as that's the default locations.

all my files are r/w as other data gets written to them fine when i update.

Re: .xxxxx file?

Did anything ever happen to sort this out?

I keep getting about one file in 10 not being able to be written to, and was causing my headache until i saw that i had the XXXXX file still there.

just renaming back to mp3 seems to work, however i have to reboot my machine each time to do that!!

Tagging Art

I like the idea of tagging art in the TAG as it means it's there for ever, so if you copy only one MP3 to portable device or whatever, it's always there. And i am willing to take the hit on disk space, so that's ok. however sometimes the file will not update with the image as a tag, and i have to do...
