Re: Adv. Duplicate Find & Fix 3.2.2 (2008-07-03) [MM2&3]
Yeah, I forgot to comment on that. There is actually a very good explanation to why the menu entry in the NowPlayingMainTrackWindow is missing. It's currently not accessible in scripts! However, I asked the devs and they will add the missing method for it in the next version of MM. So the script ...

Re: Adv. Duplicate Find & Fix 3.2.2 (2008-07-03) [MM2&3]
Ver 3.2.2 (2008-07-03) - Added possibility to include seeding tracks to the result in "Find More From Same - Custom Search" Works great. Thanks. Reminder: The missing menu entry in the NowPlayingMainTrackWindow will also be added, I can't explain why it's not already there! :D :) Ariel.

Re: Adv. Duplicate Find & Fix 3.2.1 (2008-06-13) [MM2&3]
I just started exploring the various features of this impressive script, so excuse me if I missed something. A minor comment: I can't get the "custom search" entry in the "find more from same" menu when the displayed tracks are the "now playing" ones (i.e. when the "now playing tree node is selected ...

Request for a "find more from same title" script
I just upgraded from 2.5 to 3.03 (LG) and found out that "find more from same" for titles hasn't been implemented [there's no SQL reason not to implement it in one way or another, but ours is not to ask why ... :(]. Can someone please implement it as a script (for the currently selected track ...

You don't have to download/use the alpha/beta releases, but you can still read the list of changes @ http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15384 Btw, the developers do have a bug tracking database, and have indicated in the past that eventually it will be opened up for more public access ...

That indeed seems to be a very nice feature, and from what was said in this thread it's possibly a solution to my "show/don't offline tracks" wish. Small but: I wish these filters will be assignable to toolbar buttons for easy switching, not requiring re-filling an "advanced search" type of dialog ...

MM3+ wishes: Configurable toolbars

I really miss having configurable user toolbars. Ideally everything that can be done from a menu should be able to be represented by a button on a toolbar.
Ariel.

MM3+ wishes: Switchable grid layouts
Background: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=99413 I mean a way to quickly switch between several grid layouts. For example a bar button for switching between two alternate grid layouts Example: Normally the path or added fields are not visible in my grid layout and I have to scroll ...

MM3+ wishes: Show/don't offline tracks

With 75% of my tracks being offline I really wish for a button that will do an additional "status accessible" filtering to whatever is in the grid view.
Ariel.

MM3+ wishes: Multiple databases
Background: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=99413 Do I need to explain? Example: When I started using MM I wanted to use it also to catalog my vinyl records and audio CD's. That's at least 30k more tracks. Having that "catalog" mixed with the records of MP3 tracks was really messy ...

MM3+ wishes: Delete tracks in auto-playlists
Background: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=99413 Major time waster :( Of course it's not a trivial delete. If you have an auto-playlist with 10 randomly selected tracks, what do you do when a track is deleted? Display the remaining 9 tracks? Add a new track to complete the 10 ...

MM3+ wishes: All database/tag fields.
Background: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=99413 I wish that the policy would be that unless there's a very good reason not to, all database & tag fields will be available to functions that deal with fields. Editing: Just this weekend I had several cases in which I wished I could ...

MM3+ wishes: MM file location
Background: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=99413 And now to the issue that prompted me to write all these wishes. I saw in the beta forum something about splitting MM files between several predefined locations. Please - NO! More than that, the location of MM non-program files ...
