network sync
I want to keep my must library on my laptop, like it is now, but also sync to a network location.
The sync can be manual or automatic, this doesn't matter.
Can media monkey sync to a network location?

songs get deleted?
I have an iPhone 32gb 3gs and use the latest iTunes to sync podcasts, movies, and apps and MediaMonkey so sync music. Periodically, iTunes deletes my songs. Not often, but it happens. When I sync with MediaMonkey my music gets put back. Is there something I can do to keep iTunes from deleting my ...

So while MediaMonkey is syncing my tunes can I also let iTunes sync my podcasts and/or Rock Your Phone sync my apps?
Or should only 1 app sync at a time?

Odd iPhone issue.
Has anyone else noticed that occasionally the tags on the songs on my iPhone just aren't correct? Today while I work I noticed that the banana boat song from Harry Belfonte was somehow in my Hair Metal genre. This is obviously incorrect so when I get home I check my library on Media Monkey and it is ...

Re: iPhone 3.1 firmware support
Just a follow up to my previous post in this thread.
It was a configuration issue.
Everything seems to be working well.
Thanks for such a great product!

Re: iPhone 3.1 firmware support
I seemed to have some issues, but as I've only had an 1 phone for 3 days I'm not sure if it is the driver or the configuration in iTunes. I'm using iPhone 32 gb 3gs running 3.1 and iTunes 9. In iTunes I have I will manage my music manually checked, and music, podcasts, videos, and radio unchecked on ...

Re: Using MM for
I don't think Find Device is used to confirm the existence of the Z drive, instead it's used to identify any devices that might be available (like memory sticks, etc.). If you just setup the Device Configuration and set the drive to Z are you able to synchronize to the Z drive? When I select Sync ...

Re: Using MM for
Thanks for the replies. I have tried rebooting with no luck. Here are some images that may help explain. Here is my mapped drive in Windows Explorer. You can see that the drive letter is Z and it is mapped to //dingobone/mp3 http://www.dragonslist.com/images/temp/mm/1.jpg Here is what I see from ...

Using MM for
I want to keep my music on my location machine (and the DB as well), but also have MM sync it to a networked location just for backup purposes. I tried creating a mapped drive like suggested in item #5 here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=68 ...

Re: Can't see mapped drive?
Thanks for the replies.
I was hoping to use MM to perform a backup to a network location but that seems to be beyond this topic so I'll open a new thread.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Can't see mapped drive?
Does that apply to my issue? I read the article and it is about setting up a shared database on a unc path.
I want to keep my database local, just allow mediamonkey to see a mapped drive.

Can't see mapped drive?
I'm running MM 3.1.2.1266 and Windwos Vista SP1.
I created a mapped drive to a network SAN. I can access the mapped drive from Windows Explorer, but MM can't see it.
