Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)

I really don't know much about this. I can confirm that the plugin doesn't change any of the track or album level values. The process used is quite simple. * Track is taken from MM and placed in the cache * iTunes is given the path to the track in the cache The second point causes iTunes to read ...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)

Had a question about sync: how does the plugin handle ReplayGain values? One of the things that I liked about MediaMonkey with my old 2G iPod Touch was that I could spoof compatibility with the device's Sound Check using ReplayGain values without having to re-scan and add yet another set of tags via ...

Re: ReplayGain tags of some M4A files not recognized [#8784]

I went and forced a complete rescan of tags (I already had automatic rescanning on MM start enabled, but this was apparently not enough). Most M4A files now have RG data, but all of the most recent conversions (only about five albums) were unrecognized despite using the same codec as the newest of ...

Re: ReplayGain tags of some M4A files not recognized [#8784]

I just re-attempted to load some newly-converted files in build 1460 (which listed this issue as fixed). I'm running into the exact same issue still, with Leveling listed as "not calculated" on M4A files that were ReplayGain scanned via foobar2000. Is there anything else I have to do to get such RG ...

ReplayGain tags of some M4A files not recognized [#8784]

Since the upgrade to MM4, I've found that M4A files that have been ReplayGain leveled via another program (such as foobar2000) do not have their leveling data read until they've been volume analyzed again in MM4. My usual workflow is to rip from CD to a lossless format, then from that, create a M4A ...

Re: iPod Touch iOS4 / MM1299 - iTunes Clash

setting itunes to manually manage music BEFORE syncing media monkey should resolve this. if you already have your music marked as 'other then i suggest DiskAid to remove the files. Which was done. I'd set manually manage music as one of my very first actions after getting the iTouch. I initially ...

Re: iPod Touch iOS4 / MM1299 - iTunes Clash

Note that you should have only either MediaMonkey or iTunes open at once in order to prevent problems. Is this your case? Jiri My usual workflow: - Attach iTouch. iTunes automatically opens. - Close iTunes. - Open MediaMonkey. - Auto-sync playlists. - Close MediaMonkey. - Open iTunes. - Auto-sync ...

Re: iPod Touch iOS4 / MM1299 - iTunes Clash

One other question: is volume analysis disabled in iTunes? (this is done by deselecting 'Soundcheck' on the Edit > Preferences > Playback panel in iTunes). Thanks. -Rusty Sound Check is disabled in iTunes. I didn't like the constant clash between iTunes' volume normalization tagging and pretty much ...

Re: iPod Touch iOS4 / MM1299 - iTunes Clash

Has anyone else observed this problem (where subsequent to a sync with MM, content on the iPod(iOS4) changes to category 'other') with 3.2.2.1299 ? -Rusty Yes, I'm getting this on my iTouch 8GB/iOS4. All music sync settings have been disabled in iTunes, and I'm only using that to sync movies and ...
