Re: <'Field'@n> Should behave equally with all fields

You have $RemovePrefix(<Album>), however I see no way to use it with @. $RemovePrefix(<Album>) is also very useful, but if i want to build a directory structure like C:\C\The Crow i have to use something like $if(<Album:4>=The ,$mid(<Album>,5,1), and then if i want to use C:\D\A Different Story, i ...

<'Field'@n> Should behave equally with all fields

<'Field'@n> has a very useful feature. It uses the 'ignore prefixes' option. But that only seem to work in the <artist> and <album artist> fields. It does not work in <original artist> or <album> field, for example. Some people uses as a workaround the following code: $if(<Album:4>=The ,$mid(<Album ...

Re: Discogs Auto-tag Web Search

It happens always. Sometimes it works (first times fo day), sometimes it just shows the first song of an album, an then it keeps giving me blank pages.

Error #13 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error

It didnt work. I tried to reset FirstPlayedDate, PlayedTime and Skipcounter, but this operation halted MM too. Maybe is a problematic song as you said. Is there a way to find out which one?

Hi Big_Berny

The script is not working here, I use windows vista, MM 3.0.2.1134, and tried autorate 2.2 rc4, 5 and 6.

The script calibrates ok, but when it starts autorating, MM hangs. It hangs always at the same point in the autorating progress bar.

Could you give me some light on this one?

TIA

I'll test it Big_Bernie! If it really does that, then I'm afraid Autorate Accurate has just entered my "can't live without" script list! Thanks! :D

@Big_Berny: Lets consider the following case: I use the A-B Looper Script from Trixmoto and listen continously to a small part of a 1:00 minute song for 5:30 minutes without letting the song to finish nor skipping it. (I know it might sound dumb, but I'm a musician and sometimes I just stick to a ...

Big_Berny, That's right, to my needs the behaviour of MM2 in this case was much better. Sometimes I listen to the same song for more than an hour just cueing it back to de beggining or to some especific part and MM3 does not compute a single play. :( From what you wrote, if I play a 1:00 minute song ...

Some sugestions and observations

I consider MM The best music software avaliable with no other even near it. But here some things I think would make it even better. I would like to hear other opinions. - Id3 implementations We know that id3 are faulty in some aspects, and changes in format are waaaay to slow. So some ...
