Filing videos
I have a large HD full of videos - proper DVD format and various compressed formats, avi, mkv, wmv & mp4 probably the most common. I have added the HD to be monitored, but NO videos are listed under the Video or Music Video nodes. Nor does there appear to be any help for handling videos in the ...

MM4 - Destroyed previous node display settings
Hi,
MM4 has whacked the list of nodes that I previously had configured, and I am damned if I can find where these are defined, as it was over two years ago I set them. Nothing obvious in the options - surely this should be one of the main configuration options?
Please advise!

Node has no entries
Composer is one of the six nodes I use. Having rebuilt my library today, I notice that it has no data at all associated with it, although the tag is set all through my large library of classical music (within my large library of music!). Whassup?

Re: "Multiple" tags
Not really - it does not seem unreasonable - in my case - to wish to access an album by the date of the show released, as well as the title.

Re: "Multiple" tags
Sure. I have some 3 Terabytes plus of Grateful Dead music - live shows, and formal releases. In order to access these in a sensible way, I use (and this goes back to the fact that I used to use WMP, until releases 10 & 11 demonstrated they can't handle large libraries, one as a result of the GUI ...

Re: Upgrade from 3.2.0 to 3.2.2 not working?
I'm running x64, and the upgrade just installed fine. Maybe some file locked, so I would suggest logging out again and back in again, or a reboot

"Multiple" tags
i.e. to create different node entries for the same data. Tags separated by the separator as defined in the options - default, which I use, being a semi-colon. This does not work for Albums. Is this deliberate? I have a huge library of Grateful Dead shows and recordings. The shows have an standard ...

Re: Tag data anomaly
I did wonder about that - though, if course, that implies that the CLR command does not properly clear the database. I assume it is an SQL database; not something I am (or rather, was, as it's some four years now since I did any coding, and the system we had which used it I didn't work on much ...

Re: Tag data anomaly
OK. Codec was wma, and mp3tag doesn't handle this. Tag&Rename has a "Clear all" feature when editing tags, which does not appear to do so!. So - I converted the folder to shn, thus destroying the tags, and then to flac; updated the tag data, and yes, this is now in the library as it should be, with ...

Re: Tag data anomaly
Yup, Infer Track Properties is disabled, that because I do the bulk of my own tagging with Tag&Rename
Will try what you suggest and get back to you

Re: Tag data anomaly
"Clean" rather than "Remove", yes? I assume this is non-destructive? I can't find anything about it in the Help of the knowledgebase. Here's how the Album Artist tag appears in MM track properties The Grateful Dead (Live - 1976); The Grateful Dead (Live - 1970s) So it is seen in two separate nodes ...

Tag data anomaly
I have six tracks on one album (in fact a live show) which in MM show tag data that cannot be found by my tag editor. When I remove it via MM, it re-appears when I rebuild the library. The data is in the Album Artist tag, and appears as a second tag for Album Artist, separated by a semi-colon. NONE ...
