Re: iPod Classic - Rebuild Database?
According to the error it does not seem related to MediaMonkey version, but rather to the iPod itself, MM uses Windows file system/driver for transfering files to the iPod's volume D:\ , but that's failing in your case. Probably the iPod's drive got corrupted somehow, I guess you would see similar ...

Re: iPod Classic - Rebuild Database?
I don't have another one unfortunately. After the initial failure I 'restored' (initialised) the iPod using iTunes which, I think, reformats the drive doesn't it? I've run some further tests and it seems to be happening when converting .FLAC files to MP3. I'll test it with iTunes although it's not ...

Re: iPod Classic - Rebuild Database?
Thanks for moving this to the correct area. I managed to get all the music off the iPod, initialise it and started again but MM keeps throwing up similar errors. The screen shots here show what's happening. The Application error message appears after the MM error message. I restart MM, eject the ...

Re: iPod Classic - Rebuild Database?
Sorry, that would have been helpful information to put in my opening post - 5.0.1.2433 and it's running on W10.
Edit: And I've just noticed I've posted this in the MM4 section. Sorry.

iPod Classic - Rebuild Database?
I was transferring some of our music to a friend's iPod Classic 160 when MM starting throwing up errors about not being able to delete this file, that file... I found it impossible to abort the process at that point as I couldn't cancel it before another error message appeared. In the end I killed ...

Re: M3U Paths
You can use Find & Replace in Notepad to make editing easier. <Nods> Yes, that's what I've been doing. This Addon allows you to configure how Paths are done on exported Playlists: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34512&hilit=export+child Thanks but I had a play with that ...

M3U Paths
My music is stored on a network share. Is there any way to persuade MM (v4.1.30.1914) to put a fully qualified path in an exported playlist? It's currently giving me: ..\!Compilations\Electro Pop\1-05 Video Killed the Radio Star.mp3 ..\!Compilations\Electro Pop\1-14 Fade to Grey.mp3 ..\!Compilations ...

I use iTunes purely for back-up and IME the music remains on the device.

Re: iphone 5 no longer detected after ios update to 8.1.3
I've got the same problem with a 5s and an iPad Air, both on 8.1.3 with iTunes 12.1.0.71 installed on Win7.
MM 4.1.5.1719 is not seeing either device although both iTunes and Windows are.

List tracks when only x tracks exist for artist
I struggled (and failed!) to come up with a meaningful title for this post so let's hope I can explain what I'd like to do better. There are quite a few tracks in our library by one-hit wonders or by people we only have a couple of tracks for. Is there any way I can create a playlist containing them ...

Optional Creation of Folder During File Rename
I'm sure me trying to explain what I'm trying to do is going to confuse me as much as it will you reading it but here goes anyway! If <album artist> is not equal to <artist> I want to put it in a directory structure thus - !Compilations\<album> If they are equal I'd like it in a this directory ...

Unable to Autosync SD Card
I've just plugged an SD card into a card reader on my PC as I want to autosync some MP3 files to it. When I plug my iPod or Zumo in MM displays them above the 'My Computer' entry in the tree and I have an autosync option on RMB. My SD card is only appearing in the list of disks below 'My Computer ...
