According to the error it does not seem related to MediaMonkey version, but rather to the iPod itself, MM uses Windows file system/driver for transfering files to the iPod's volume D:\ , but that's failing in your case. I've got the same problem with a 5s and an iPad Air, both on 8.1.3 with iTunes 12.1.0.71 installed on Win7.

MM 4.1.5.1719 is not seeing either device although both iTunes and Windows are.
