Just like to add my support for this, especially seeing the stock metro music app is so lacking. WMP hasn't evolved nearly enough over the years, and although the regular program still works, I'd still like a metro styled version, or even what might be considered a front end.

Having this issue as well, win7/64, Sidewinder x6 keyboard, media keys work fine except when playing a full screen game, needless to say its annoying, playing diablo or whatever and having to alt tab out if I wanna skip/pause. Everythings up to date as well, and running 1436 dev build.

I know it ends in 29, its whatever is listed with the latest builds, or was earlier this weekend before I headed out of town. Still need to get that debug log taken care of, I'll try and get on it tomorrow.

I'm running the latest MM beta on my desktop downstairs and my laptop upstairs. Just wondering if theres a way to use this functionality to control the player downstairs from my laptop, I just need to be able to skip/play/pause. Thanks.

Just like to add that I'm having the same issue. Keep having to skip to the next song on a list manually, or single selected track loops indefinitely.

No, I could be doing anything, on Chrome, WLM, or even just have the computer idling aside from playing the music of course. Like I said, its random.
