Chromecast Audio/Airport Express

Hello, I think this is the right place for this, if not please move it where it belongs. I need a solution to transmit audio via WiFi from a Windows PC in one room to a stereo in another room (the stereo is old and has RCA inputs). I use MediaMonkey exclusively to manage and play my music collection...

That.Was.Awesome.

I just converted to a new fileserver box, and I've set up all the network shares with different names. I just installed the script, clicked a few buttons, and 5 minutes later my database is now properly aligned! Just made a small donation, thank you for creating this.

<sigh> Sorry to keep bumping, but really, nobody has any familiarity with this? Do you have large devices (larger than my 4GB Nano) and the inability to navigate albums isn't an issue?

Anyone? Sorry to bump, but this can't be an uncommon complaint. Can this be done? If not will it ever be possible???

Thanks!

Sorry to resurrect an ancient thread, but is this functionality available in MM3?

Thanks!

Quick edit: Using MM3 Gold, most recent version.

MM2 > MM 3 -- What's changed/new??

Hi, This is probably a totally ignorant question and the answer is around here somewhere, but I don't follow the forums all that closely and I can't find it. Is there a list anywhere of what's changed between MM2 and MM3? New features, improved functionality of old features, eliminated pieces, etc.?...

Nice script, looks like it's going to be useful in some mods I want to make to my collection.

Question: Any idea how to remove a prefix from one tag (album) when the same prefix appears at the start of another (artist)?

e.g.

Artist: Bruce Springsteen
Album: Bruce 1975-10-15 Asbury Park

While I'm posting to this thread -- I can't quite figure out if this script will do what I want. I have an album with multiple artists each contributing a song. In the Artist node I'd like to see this album show up once, not once for each artist. Can this script merge the Artist and Title fields int...

I'm trying to remove leading track numbers. For example I have a song: 01 Zdravstvuy, mama... I set field name to Title and Mask to recognize as <Skip>01<Title> with the arrow pointing back at Title. But what I get is: %X0101 Zdravstvuy, mama... What am I doing wrong? Try this script: http://www.me...

So for anyone who comes across this post, I thought I'd update that I found at least two ways to accomplish this. 1. Use the Media Monkey Web controller provided here . Unfortunately it seems that further development of this is dead, but it works pretty well for me in its current incarnation. You se...

This is a great script, I use it all the time. But there's something that works weird about it, and I wonder if anyone else experiences it. If I sit down and open the web interface and select something to play, the sound is accompanied by an unpleasant hiss, like playing a hi-generation analog casse...

For what it' worth, I've never had that problem. Always worked when the lines match the files. To the author, I wonder if it would be easy to modify the script so that the "Auto Tag from Tag-List" appears as a right-click context menu? It certainly works fine as-is, but that'd make this even a littl...

Well yes, but that would require a wire, and I don't want to have to plug and unplug a wire every time I want to use the stereo. Also I sometimes use the Lyra Wireless system to play from the desktop to a second stereo in another room.
