Forcing MTP on a freshly formatted Clip did not fix the problem. I think you have to use MSC mode. Here's more info:

Re: Sansa Clip duplicating files on sd card
I shouldn't have to do this, but I've seen some other issues with the Clip being resolved by forcing MTP usb mode on the device. It has the default option to auto detect. I will try wiping my device and forcing the usb mode. I will report back

Re: Sansa Clip duplicating files on sd card
Its possible, but I've looked long and hard. This mp3 player is very simple with standard sd card storage and MM has it listed as a supported device.

Sansa Clip duplicating files on sd card
I've got a Sansa Clip with a 16 gb sd card. I've got some auto playlists set up to sync with both the internal and external memory. The playlists are setup such that their won't be duplicate tracks amongst them. I'm noticing that a large portion of my tracks (on the sd card) are duplicating, in many ...

Songs linked to wrong files
I think this happened when I moved my stuff to a new hard drive, but I have a large and random selection of songs that are linked to the wrong file. I think I lost some songs and instead of removing them they got linked to other songs with the same track length (I"m guessing here). I want to retain ...

Restoring library + metadata from ipod
My hard drive crashed and I lost all my data. I had previously backed up both my iTunes and MM library files so I have that to work with. I want to know if I use something like iPod Access to copy my music back to my computer, if it will be possible to restore my metadata. I am mostly wanting my ...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
I accidentally deleted some tracks in MM, when I restored them their play counts were reset. I tried syncing 1 song with iTunes to see if the play count would update in MM but instead of the MM play count updating from iTunes the opposite happened and my iTunes play count was decreased to match the ...

Re: Sync play counts from iTunes
With the iTunes Device Addon, so my iTunes library matches my MM library. What do you mean you regularly sync your MM to iTunes?
Basically right now my iTunes library has more accurate play counts than my MM library (for the tracks I accidentally deleted).

Sync play counts from iTunes
Sorry if this has been covered already (I'm sure it has), but I couldn't find anything when I searched. Basically I accidentally deleted a chunk of songs from a playlist and had the "from playlist, library, and computer" option checked. I restored the files in windows and they were re-added to MM ...

Hard drive optimization for large libraries
Is there anything I can do to optimize my hard drive in windows to allow MM's indexing to be faster? I just did a fresh install of Windows, restored my backup database, but its taking a really really long time to scan my music folder, like several seconds a song and I have a lot of songs. I don't ...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
So my hard drive is failing and I'm about to move to a new SSD. All my music is stored on an external but MM and iTunes are installed on the drive I'm about to replace. What files/folders do I need to consider backing up so I don't have to resync all 15,000 tracks again? Thanks

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ (3.01 ghz) with 6 gigs of DDR2 memory. No ssds, just a couple large SATA II hard drives. I pretty much shut all programs down, so I was using about 1.3 GB of my 6 GBs. The CPU was being split between iTunes and MediaMonkey, with MM using about 50-60% of my ...
