Re: Auto-organise - Error Unknown Protocol

Yes that has fixed it - seem without the UNC path it will cause issues. Something to bear in mind for others then.

Once again, thank you for your assistance.

Re: Auto-organise - Error Unknown Protocol

Well that was actually it - so it appears. I removed the whole library - scanned the network and added my files in via \\nas\multimedia\music. The few that it has actually added I did a test auto-organise on and it seems to have fixed it. Wil wait for the whole library to come on board and then have...

Re: Auto-organise - Error Unknown Protocol

OK - I have checked it over and I may have discovered something; A user (me) can have access to the files and folder permissions are set, but there are also options for NFS, and MS Network Host Access Control. One of these may not be set correctly and even though I have access to the folders, the fa...

Re: Auto-organise - Error Unknown Protocol

Yes I picked up the error via Media Server first off and re-did the library.

I have full access to the NAS to add and delete folders, create etc so not sure.

Maybe I will try a full reboot and see if it makes any difference?

Auto-organise - Error Unknown Protocol

Hi All, I have my MM4 running with my library on my QNAP NAS. The Media Drive (M: Drive) has been scanned to the library and I have been in the process of editing tags and organising. However, when I hit the Auto-Organise, I get the preliminary screen saying where the new track location will be, I h...

Re: How to script out double brackets in title field?

Thanks mate - the first option worked - Mr Stupid (ie me) included the quotes with what you had suggested. Took the quotes out and hey presto!

Cheers - Ben

How to script out double brackets in title field?

Hi all, I have used the REGexp find and replace options to remove the Featured artists from the Artist field and add on to the track field. Only problem is I have ended up with a double set of brackets on the title field ; 'Heartbreaker (Laidback Luke Remix) (Feat. John Legend)' What I would like to...

Re: Airtunes

Grab this little beauty and if you already have an airport express for Itunes this works a treat. Downside is you have to pay $25 for all major updates (that is once off) but it streams out of media monkey like a dream - in fact mine is going now. http://emilles.dyndns.org/software/out_apx/out_apx-2...

Re: Bulk tagging

G'day, I use personal Tag enhancer combined with the normal search feature. On PTE I add lines for bands that I know are commonly mispelt or have different ways people record them. I will either search library then highlight and change the properties of all song artists as a bulk, but also sometimes...

Re: VLC Player plugin (MM2VLC)

Awesome work on this plugin - just what MM needed. Had to change my script file but is so worth the effort.

VLC and MM in SYNC! Kudos to you Ian!
