3.0.1.1127 track browser bug
When I'm using the track browser and select the first option after the top item All Items for either Artist or Album then the list of tracks shown always excludes one track - usually the first track, but not always. If it's a Various Artists Album then it shows no tracks if I select the first artist ...

I just checked and I see it works. I remember now what happened last time which made it seem that it doesn't work. After changing my auto-organise file settings I tried something with the synch tool a bit later which made MM crash. When I started MM after the crash the auto-organise settings were ...

3.0.1.1127 doesn't remember the auto-organise file settings
In v2.5 the auto-organise settings were remembered - I could close MM and when I opened it again afterwards the settings were still there. This is not the case in MM3 - it is very frustrating to set it up every time I run MM.

How to xfer album art from pre-v3 to tags in v3?
I have a huge collection of music created with MM 2.5 and earlier. All my album art is stored in a JPG file per album stored in the MM database. Since upgrading to v3 I would like to transfer the album art to the song tags (I use FLAC). Is there a utility/script in MM3 to do this transfer from the ...

Hi Teknojnky, Thanks for pointing that out to me. Unfortunately it's not very visible (I lmost get the idea it has been done on purpose, but that is only my opinion). When I go to the home page I look at the date of the top recent news item. The current top item is dated Jan. 30, 2007. When I see ...

Yes, I did see that post. However, rusty posted this on 13 June: [quote]Enough with the excuses. Most importantly we want to make this right. I'm going to: a) send an update notification so that all pre 2.5.5.998 users are told to upgrade to MM 2.5.5.998 (done--but see note below). b) update the ...

It has been almost a month and I haven't seen any mention of this problem being made on the home page of the MM web site, or any emails sent out to registered users warning them of this problem. Developers of MM, please realise that every day wasted is a day where many users out there are corrupting ...

Hello Rusty, Thank you for your reply and the actions that you've already taken on this issue - that is how things should be done and you've set a great example! Regarding your point d) I would like to bring to your attention that most people who rip their files to flac are not using MM to do that ...

I've posted a reference to this on the "Corrupted FLAC files after tag edit" thread (see http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=91261). In my opinion the least the developers of MM can do is to provide us with a tool to support the very laborious and time-consuming process of re-ripping ...

I only saw the thread "Re - flac corruption - can we expect a sync tool?" now (see http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17871). Since we have to re-rip all our corrupted FLAC files as a result of this serious bug in MM, the least the developers could do is to provide us with a tool to ...

I just checked my FLAC collection of over 8000 songs. More than 2000 of them were corrupted! I'll need to spend a month or two ripping and tagging all the songs again. I am NOT impressed. It goes beyond me why the developers have not posted a notice on the MediaMonkey home page highlighting this ...

heinimuecki, Thank you for the information. Even though your information tells me how MM is supposed to work with disk volumes, it still doesn't work correctly and I'll describe why below: I work with two external disks that have volume labels AUD1A and AUD1B. I do not know their volume ID's, but ...
