And there's no way that WMP11 is faster.

I went gold too and I'm very happy that i did. MM is the best audio manager out there and considering the last release was about 6 mos ago, I'm not too concerned. Does anyone else update faster? No matter, I'm a MM user for life... unless they do something real sucky like what happened with Real ...

autotag
That is an awesome suggestion.
I get so sick of podcasts that seem to be tagged by techno-deficients or people with zero sense of organization.

MP4s
I think the advice of "look elsewhwere" if you want to use mp4 is either misleading or just plain wrong. I downloaded the MP4 plugin, put it in the plugin directory and blammo! everything worked. It was that easy. So yes, look elsewhere (as in "outside of the initial installation package") for that ...

agree
I agree with Rayi23. In my 10+ years of designing applications, I've found repeatedly that using "No." or "#" is always understood by the user when the value of the field is numeric. As a result, people find it unnecessary and often ask to have it removed. In a few cases, I found that people would ...

Sort albums by year under Artist in Tree View
I've not seen a way to do this yet, so... I think it would be a beautiful thing if we could opt to show albums listed uner artists in the treeview sorted by year... maybe have it display like so: Artist Name - (1986) - First Album Name - (1989) - Second Album Name - (1994) - Third Album etc.

Create iPod Playlists of Pre-Synched Tracks
I don't want to synch my songs in a playlist, I just want to create a playlist on my iPod of my iPod songs -- and name it whatever I want. - Sepherant I think it would make sense to let users create playlists directly on iPod. - Jiri yes mate, i want to do the same as you. just create some playlists ...

Jukebox View for Artists
I think it would be awesome if we could easily toggle between a Jukebox view (Album covers, captioned with the Album name and year) or the grid view when in the Artist node.

I don't want to synch my songs in a playlist, I just want to create a playlist on my iPod of my iPod songs -- and name it whatever I want. This is the ONLY reason I actually need iTunes. I freaking hate iTunes! Since the iPod has the ability to create "On The Go" playlists, that must mean that there ...
