Funnily enough, that's exactly what I have been using to change the icons. It makes no difference though. As soon as I set MM to be the default player to anything changed by it, they immediately get overwritten and become MM icons again.

Have done that and unticked the "Re-associate File Types on startup" box.

Can anyone clarify, are all music types like MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc. supposed to have the same Media Monkey file icon when looking in Windows Explorer? I'd prefer to have different icons for each but MM is currently overriding any changes I make to them...
