BUG - Generate Playlist on Sync fails
This is easy to reproduce. If your AutoSync list is a playlist , and you set Device Config options to copy playlists -> options and say 'Generate Playists on Device for' Artist (or albums) it fails to create the m3u playlist files on the device. If your autosync list is made up of specific artists ...

[Filenamemappings] not working [Bug#5081]
There seems to be a bug in the latest MMv3 build. If you add a mapping to the ini file, it gets stripped out when you start MM. Try adding say C0=41 or E0=61 etc. Then start MM, no need to do anything, jus exit MM again. Now check the ini file. The mappings are removed. It seems like only some of ...

Autoplaylists - support for podcasts
the autoplaylist feature does not have explicit support for podcasts. You can set criteria for tracks , meaning if the podcast has been downloaded into your library you can see it in an autoplaylist. However, if it is not downloaded, there is no ability to add to an autoplaylist . Ironically, you ...

Re: Autoplaylists - adding podcast URLs
yep, I think you're right (unless I'm just not seeing it). I'm just asking the question. Smells like an oversight to me. Would be veerrryy useful functionality.
What about scripting? I couldn't find any podcast related objects. Any ideas how podcasts are exposed?
thx

Re: Autoplaylists - adding podcast URLs
thanks for the reply, but that doesn't make sense. If you can create a playlist of these manually, surely you can do it automatically. MM knows about the file, it is in library, but it's listed as an http URL rather than a UNC path. So I'm clear, I don't mean every podcast in the universe, only ...

Autoplaylists - adding podcast URLs
I've searched and tried different methods but can't get this to work. How can you create an autoplaylist with the podcast URLs for non-downloaded podcasts? For podcasts downloaded into your library this is easy, just like adding regular tracks. For for podcasts you subscribe to, but not downloaded I ...

MM 3 A2 - Podcast enhancements
this is maybe a feature request, so feel free to move it. But it is for MM v3 Alpha 2. I would like more control over podcast tagging etc. Currently, you can specify a download folder, but I'd like to set things like genre, title, artist etc on a per subscription basis. Some podcasts are terrible at ...

MM 3 A2 - Update Podcast bug
when choosing the 'Update Podcasts' (note plural 's'), it works as expected. It will download any new podcasts not in your library. If you have the most recent, it will do nothing. When you highlight a subscription and select 'Update Podcast' (note singular), and you have the most recent, it appears ...

MM 3 A2 - Editing properties bug
when editing tracks, if you change track properties under the basic tab, then go to the classification tab, then back to basic, your edits are lost. All other tab navigations appear fine, just classification.

thanks for the quick replies. Found the peak value/max sample and leveling/normalize fields in the DB and via properties, so get/let is fine for the properties, just trying to find the methods. The dlls sound interesting, I'll take a look there. Ultimately it'd be nice to expose all functionality ...

aha - I thought I was going crazy, couldn't find it at all. So not all the functionality is exposed? That seems a little strange. So all the methods called via the built in menus cannot be accessed via VBS. It kinda makes customizing a challenge. It looks like all the actual song data is exposed, so ...

Volume level analyze (ReplayGain) method?
Hi, new to MM but not to VBS. Any ideas how I find the method to analyze a track for volume leveling?
TIA!
