Sorting on Artist/Album/Date
Hi All, I have a problem with sorting my library. I click on the "artist & album artist" node and sort by Date. Unfortunately some of my songs are tagged with the date as only the year eg "2010" and some have the date aswell eg "10.09.2010". So if I have one album with some songs with only the year ...

Re: Share Experience with Various Music Tagging Software
Give FixTunes another shot. We'd love to hear your feedback about what you'd like to see in future versions. Send me an email if you have any questions: kelly@fixtunes.com Where do I start? :P I see you have a newer version alright. What's the major difference between the version with and without ...

Re: Has anyone tried Jaikoz?
There is another thread on here where there is a discussion about Jaikoz and other auto-tagging software. It might be helpful to you and maybe you can add your input too.

Re: Share Experience with Various Music Tagging Software
Hi All, I haven been on here in ages and haven't had time to look up or test any new software. I'm still using the same solution Tag Runner > Picard > WinAmp > Fixtunes with 80 to 90% success. I also just seen that Picard has been updated but I still have to try it out. In the next weeks I'll scour ...

So I've tested Winamp 5.31 auto-tag with a few sample data sets of more than 200 files and there was no problem with crashing. As far as I can tell it still doesn't support album art. However, the files I tagged were ones I had difficulty tagging with other software so I could be just that the album ...

Is there a BPM calculator Script?
Sorry if similar thread exists but due to the limitations of the search option it was difficult to find. Is there a script for MM that calculates and automatically adds BPM information to the tags? If so, how fast is it and does it eat up much system resources, i.e. would it take several hours or ...

Auto-Tag from web search options
Hi, I have probably overlooked something in the options but anytime I do an Auto-tag from web it automatically only takes the last word. For example if I do a search for a "chemical brothers" song the automatic tagger only searches for "brothers" and I end up with a lot of nonsense hits. This was ...

Here is the exact thread I was looking for. It's a few weeks ago since it was updated so I had to go back a few pages on the Scripts section.

An update for the forum software will hopefully be implemented soon, as especially the search functionality bothers a lot of people.

Where is script for adding sources to "Auto-tag from We
Hi, I was looking around on the forum a few weeks ago and found a script/install package for adding sources other than Amazon to the the "Auto-tag from Web" script. I put it on my to do list for when I had time to install it. I came back today to try it out but I can't find the appropriate thread ...

Another one I found today.
http://www.letssingit.com/
It doesn't have at lot of obscure stuff but from my use of it so far it very easy to navigate and the search options are good.
It also has a movie soundtrack database.

You could use Bex's tagging inconsistencies and display tracks with multiple album art to help you find the problem tracks. Of course, thats assuming that you don't normally add more than 1 image to a track... As far as I know, there is no 'file name' for art thats embedded into the tags. If its ...

Unfortunately MM doesn't do large batch tagging.
I started a thread last month on 3rd party software that can do this in off topic.
Here's a link to it:
