And you're using AutoSync (as it's the only way to prevent re-copying)? i have this EXACT same issue with my S3 and i use autosync..i have the same version as the OP and the ONLY way i have been able to sync my S3 correctly is to remove the SD card and put it in a USB reader which is an EXTREME ...
