Re: Same album/different songs everywhere
For Album Artist you can use any value as long as it is the same for all files on the Album. For compilation Albums most will use something like Various, Various Artists or VA. ah I figured it out :) and found a blog that explained the difference between artist and album artist :) Now my collection ...

Re: Same album/different songs everywhere
An Album is where all files have the same Album value and the same Album Artist value. So you'll need to locate all the files on the Album and make sure that is the case. If the files are in the same folder on your PC use the Location node to navigate to that folder. The album alue is consistent ...

Re: Same album/different songs everywhere
Check Album Artists, Album, track # and disc number (for the 2 disc ones). This is always a tagging error .. Err how do I check tags for tracks I can't see? Look for them under the location tree node. you should be able to go to the location and maybe then find the files without data. You might ...

Same album/different songs everywhere
They are not duplicates, I checked... I checked the folder all the songs are in the same folder and I've compared them to other folders and there's nothing inherently different except some folders have a subfolder while others do not and they seem to be fine. How do I make MMW (I have the latest ...

auto scrolling lyrics for MMA?
I've tried to do a little digging and I've made a post for the MMW version which you can see here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=84658 I'm spoiled with the musixmatch Lyrics overlay but sadly doesn't work with MMA I don't think due to API requirements which is too costly? Are ...

Auto scrolling lyrics in MM4.1?
Ok so I've searched the forums, wiki etc... I'm getting bits and pieces and some of it is old/outdated but not unusable necessarily. I love Musixmatch; (and yes I read about that MXM can't be used due to the API costing so much; but that's for android.. I do have a question about that, but I'll save ...

Re: MMW & DBpoweramp for ripping???
I don't know about DBPowerAmp so I can't tell you if it has any (I presume it does though). MediaMonkey can only tag basic tags like Artist, Title, Album and Date among a few others prior to ripping. when ripping, yes; but there's also an ID3 tagging feature that's outside of the MMW ripping its ...

Re: MMW & DBpoweramp for ripping???
I didn't see any tagging support in dbpoweramp unless I missed something there?Lowlander wrote:MediaMonkey's main drawback is its lack of tagging prior to ripping. Only few tags are supported and Artwork isn't. Also no FreeDB upload is supported.

Re: Playing to (Denon) Zone 2 speakers
I said it would work out of the box with Windows Media Player - which has support for "Play to" built in. OH! lol you're talking about WMP totally different software; howcome WMP will play to a non microsoft certified AVR but a Metro app won't? Would there be a way to tell MMW to do it? (again we ...

Re: Playing to (Denon) Zone 2 speakers
I can't seem to find the "play to" option, but I see the "send to" option within MM (I know windows explorer has a "send to" option as well but that's why I wanted to clarify that. My Denon E400 is turned on too, so do I have to tell MM that I have a playable source somehow? I think you are talking ...

Re: auto tagging from web sources (Amazon????)
My guess is that by 'inferior' they mean simply lesser quality. If any program goes to a site they are restricted by that sites graphics. If i have, say, Blind Faith and autotag it will go out and get what ever is available. There are some 'multiples' available but most of the time the scans really ...

Re: auto tagging from web sources (Amazon????)
A good source for album art is allmusic.com. Click on the album cover for a large version, then right-click and copy and then in MM right-click and paste on the artwork tab (remove any existing images). cduniverse.com also has cover art for many releases. Discogs also has good album art - often ...
