Re: Allocate more than one tag to a file in a category

Multiple values can be assigned to genre, artist, album artist, composer, conductor, and lyricist. The default separator is a semicolon, so if you type "songs for kids; christmas" it would result in two separate genre listings.

Re: Stable Build Releases (??)

I think if you leave the beta program you actually keep the beta version that you've got until the next stable release. To go back to the current stable release after leaving the beta you would have to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Re: BROKEN - New Notification Look

I saw it too in a single build and I think it might have been the default system playback notification. To confirm: Tap the three dot menu About MediaMonkey Tap the MediaMonkey logo to get the developer options Enable 'Use system playback notification' Next time you play something, is the notificati...

That's exactly what it is.

Buffalo provides a brief description of it and how to disable it here:

Re: Prevent screen from waking on new track

I get a black & white version of the notification every time the track changes. That's definitely an Android setting. Try going to Android settings --> Display --> Ambient Display. In there I have an option to wake the screen when I receive notifications. If you don't have an Ambient Screen section ...

Re: Licensing changes to free version of MM?

If you want free mp3 encoding then you can download the lame encoder here: http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php Download LAME 3.100, then copy the lame_enc.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\ The codec pack lets you encode aac (audio), alac (audio), h.264 (video), and mpeg4 (video) fo...

Re: Licensing changes to free version of MM?

I can confirm that mp3 encoding has always been a limited trial for at least the 7 years that I have been using MM. If you installed MM to that PC about two months ago and the last time you were able to use the mp3 encoder was about three weeks ago then you were probably still within the 30 day tria...

Re: Changing Album Volume Replay Gain values

Scripts can edit the volume fields. ZvezdanD's Regexp Find & Replace has presets for changing these fields.

Re: Please add "view file in folder" by right click

Right Click --> Find More from Same --> Folder (Explorer)

You can write a VBS script which will do anything you want and assign a shortcut key. That does require some programming knowledge though.

Re: autoplaylist help

I see this too. When the condition is 'contains' then the string is parsed as multiple values and any of those values causes a match. When the condition is 'does not contain' it seems to be ignored. Maybe there's a mismatch between handling single and multiple value strings. You could work around th...

Re: MM stops during playback

I experience the same problem with MediaMonkey Pro on my Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and is your info fact, the only way to solution is to get rid of the Huawei phone When it was in the news I think I read an article that said Huawei was working on a system update that would hopefully fix the issue. I don't...

Re: MM stops during playback

Are you using a Huawei phone? Huawei aggressively kills background processes for any apps other than its own, including media players that are actively playing music.

Re: Problem with my first script

The problem may be in your Scripts.ini.

I have tested and got the same error if the ProcName declared in Scripts.ini does not exist in the script.

In your case, the section in Scripts.ini should contain

Code: Select all

Procname=CallMe
If it still doesn't work, post the contents of your Scripts.ini.
