I play guitar and would like to have parts of a track(like the guitar solo) play repeatedly. Is that possible? If not, is there another program that would allow me to do something like that?
Thanks

Re: Albums not in Library
I was having the same problem and it appears you may have to add the band name to the Album Artist field as well as just Artist. I think I used to just populate Artist. Just changed this and the album appeared on the drop down under Artist & Album Artist. Prior to that I could not see that ...

Just to confirm: synching new ipod/itouch with MM
Just want to confirm that the only way to synch a few songs to my 9 year olds new 8 GB iTouch via MediaMonkey is to install iTunes onto my PC(which I am not going to do). It is running the Apple 5 OS. I found a post somewhere stating that I could download certain components of iTunes and make it ...

Re: Can't delete songs from media monkey
Yes that solves the problem. So I need to run as administrator every time? Just seems ridiculous that you have to differentiate in that way when you are the only user on the computer.
I realize this is Windows 7 thing.

Can't delete songs from media monkey
Recently purchased a new computer which is running Windows 7. If I try to delete a song from the library and computer, I get an access denied error stating that file may be in use and or you may not have access rights. I am the only user of the computer and am the administrator so I should have ...

Re: tranferring database between computers
Well, I didn't come across that particular post plus this isn't a normal activity for me so the likelihood for misinterpretation is high. Worked out though which is great. I've run into a number of problems today getting things to work on Windows 7 64 bit.

Re: tranferring database between computers
Since I couldn't understand the script part, I found this and it actually worked which is a minor miracle, imo.

tranferring database between computers
I am sure you have heard it before. I have a new pc and need to transfer my database. I read the wiki link but really have no clue on "running scripts". Is that the only way to make this work? I got as far as transferring the file into the correct folder and my database shows up but does not ...

Re: Library load time
I figured everything out. I was looking at my files on the hard drive tree instead of the library tree.

Library load time
Just upgraded to 3.1.0.1256 and had some problems with my library/database stats not showing up properly. I found the old .db file and copied it into the media monkey folder and all the play counts/ratings etc... seem correct now but when I go to my library and hit "ALL" to view my entire collection ...

exporting play lists to another computer
Is there a utility to export a playlist to a different computer? Everything will be on an external hard drive so the drive letter will be different than the drive letter where the play list wa created.
Thanks

OK trying this for the first time and maybe this has already been answered somewhere in the thread but I am having a hard time coming up with the correct artwork for a specific album. I see a bunch of artwork flash up in IE but then google automatically choses one whether it is the right one or not ...
