Re: Puzzling case of the reverting semicolons

Good question. MP3 and FLAC and it appears to affect both. I kind of discovered something to help, but i've also confused things even more. While writing this up and changing various settings in both applications to make sure I have the timeline accurate, I managed to enable an additional field. Thi...

Puzzling case of the reverting semicolons

I like to use the semicolon for multiple-value fields, as set under Library>Appearance. Example track: Johnny Cash and June Carter on Johnny Cash's album "Orange Blossom Special." After organizing and tagging in MMW, the tags appear as follows Title: It Ain't Me Babe Album Artist: Johnny Cash Artist...

Re: Songs start at random timecodes and bookmarking is not enabled

While I'm in the process of rescanning, anyone know for certain if the corruption is reversible, or am I going to have to re-rip them? Sad to say, it is not easily reversible, as the bug was causing pseudorandom file corruptions. The most reliable way is to re-rip. Really sorry for inconvenience. S...

This file is corrupted by serious bug in FLAC tagging in build 1873. Please update to the last fixed build as soon as possible.
Done. Thank you.

Did you set Start/Stop times (Edit > Properties > Details tab)?
I had checked that as well. Even went as far as deleting both fields. Reopen and they are 00:00 and whatever the total run time should be.

Songs start at random timecodes and bookmarking is not enabled

Recently (feels like when I installed 4.1.21.1873 but cannot be 100% certain,) some tracks have started playing at random timecodes. For example, double click track to play in MMW and while visually (progress bar, 00:00/5:33) it looks like it starts at 00:00, it clearly is not. Opening the same trac...

Album Artwork Tab quick move

Browsing, sorting and editing items on the Artwork tab for a track/album can be frustratingly slow if you have more than three or four thumbnails. How about adding at least "Top" (sending selected item to the #1 position) "Bottom" (sending selected item to the last position} and maybe even Second fr...

Nevermind... I got it.

Put my "global settings" as a portion of the criteria.

Slick!

Re: Global settings for Auto Playlists

Interesting It works, but maybe I am missing something or looking at it the wrong way. One of my personal genres which I have an AutoPlaylist for is "Chicago Punk Rock." This genre has 800 tracks, 29 Artists across 76 albums. Any time I add new music from bands who reside in or have close ties to Ch...

Track Properties to include MMW Custom Fields

We have these super useful custom fields in MMW that I often use.

I'd love to ability to manipulate these fields as needed from my phone as well.

Global settings for Auto Playlists

In my world, it is safe to say that if I have skipped a song 20 times, I simply do not like that track and I never want to (in)voluntarily hear that song ever again. When I make Auto Playlists, they are generally pretty simple. Everything by a specific artist. Everything for a specific genre. I don'...

Discontinued Addon Alert

One of the error messages I've been getting for sometime now within MMW finally caught me on a bad day and I decided to look into it. Turns out the error was also mentioned in a script (musicip tagger) was discontinued at some point. Uninstalled it, did my usual MediaMonkeying and the error has yet ...

Re: Better Shuffle Formula

Yes, are you saying it isn't random enough? Hardly. I currently have 2618 tracks on my phone. Repetition is to be expected, and I am 100% in agreement with that. I have no qualms with hearing one track a few times more often than another. However, there are blocks of tracks that never get played wh...
