Re: Unable to start MM4 - Error executing SQL

I deleted, uninstalled everything and checked the box for the portable installation. Now it works, but this seems like a pretty big bug that I can't believe the developers don't care about.

Re: Unable to start MM4 - Error executing SQL

I deleted the database, at least I think I did. I deleted the mediamonkey.mdb file. Is the database file different?

Re: Unable to start MM4 - Error executing SQL

I CANT open/start MM4 to do ANYTHING.

I have uninstalled MM4 and deleted the MM DB and reinstalled. Don't know why re-installing MM3 and upgrading again would be helpfull.

Unable to start MM4 - Error executing SQL

I just installed MM4 to give it a spin. Install seemed to go fine, but when trying to launch I get the following error msg: There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL "DROP TRIGGER update_song_artist " : no such trigger: update_song_artist (1,1) I tried uninstalling and deleting ...

synchronize lossless and lossy music libraries

I could swear this had been posted before, but searches didn't turn up anything. I was really hoping this would make it to 4.0, but I don't see it there either. I, like many, have 2 music libraries, lossless (FLAC) and lossy (AAC). I would like an easy way to synchronize the 2. I rip everything to ...

Re: "Secure Ripping" developer comments in bug database...

Is MM capable of contributing to the AccurateRip database?

Re: Exact Audio Copy v1.0 Beta 1

Huh? What's the difference between EAC's use of AccuRip and DBPowerAmps use of it? None. But if a disc isn't in the accuraterip database yet, EAC has better checks in place to ensure that your rip is perfect. This is plain wrong. -dBpoweramp is a AS GOOD as EAC in checking for errors. Even in ...

Can you post a link for Midori? A very quick google search just turned up EtOH.

Re: Would you like to see MusicIP support integrated?

There are no entries under playlists on the official wishlist. I would really like this to be added to the wishlist, and more importantly to mediamonkey.

Re: Announcement: Native Last.fm Plug-in & Auto-DJ testing

Plugin doesn't seem to do anything for me. Auto-DJ is enable, tracks are added to last.fm but always just plays the next song. No AUTO-DJ type functionality.

Locking the Library

Can I lock the library so no one else using MM could accidentally delete anything from the library?

3.0.3 Crash when trying to delete songs from iPod Nano

MM 3.0.3
WinXP Pro SP3
Intel Core2Duo
Gigabyte G35 MB

Apple 3G iPod Nano 8GB

MM crashes each time I try to delete any songs off the iPod. The confimation dialog pops up asking if I am sure if I want to delete the song. When I click yes, MM crashes.

This is a feature I would LOVE to see. I rip to FLAC, but use either AAC or MP3 for playing. I would love for MM to be able to handle this more gracefully. Also, my wife and I both have our music on the same PC. It would be nice for us to be able to keep separate ratings. Even cooler if ratings from ...

I think this is a VERY important feature for anyone with a large collection. Especially with PAR2 support.
