Re: MM slow

@mm4me: I tested directly with your MM.DB (it has only 85K files) and the properties are really fast (always less than a half of a second) The OnReadArtists thread reads just artist list in a background task -- so this is not slowing down opening the properties dialog. It takes 3 seconds here also, ...

Re: 2191<->2185 - MM5 sync phone has got a lot of problems

I have sent you a link to upload of /MediaMonkey/files/ from my phone. Thx, I analyzed the files and MMA database (mmstore.db) has the table albums, so I have no idea why there was "no such table albums" SQL error before in your test. Probably the database has not been downloaded as whole via MTP (...

Re: 2191<->2185 - MM5 sync phone has got a lot of problems

?? ... There is no tooltip for "Reset Settings.." button on Options tab at at >D&S>MyDevice The text is directly on the 'Settings profile' page so I supposed that it is well visible, but sure, we might add it to the toolptip too. this is not specific enough ... does it sync tags other than Ratings ...

Re: 2191<->2185 - MM5 sync phone has got a lot of problems

Hi, as for the missing metadata under D&S > Pixel > Folders. I see, for the FLAC file type the MTP interface does not provide album/artist metadata -- so the Device>Folders subnodes are missing the metadata, we would need to take it from our databases (like we already do in case of the Pixel > Music...

Re: 2191<->2185 - MM5 sync phone has got a lot of problems

Thanks for the PM, these dumps will be fixed in 2192 #1. D&S>device>Folders>Music ... I have sync'd some tracks to my phone with MM5 ... the list shown at this node displays no tags other than title, filename & path ... ie. album (and others) are empty (expected?) ... so the List By Album View has n...

Re: 2191<->2185 - MM5 sync phone has got a lot of problems

Hi Barry, as for the original dumps with "Too many threads for indexing" -- I believe that these have been already fixed. As for your new dump 8934A44E -- I don't see it here and I also don't see a PM from you. As for the missing tooltips and clearness issues -- I added most of the missing tooltips ...

I can confirm that I see the 60500C80 dump here, so it has been sent successfully.

Re: 2191 - download from GPM is broken

Thanks Barry, a regression cropped into 2191 (while fixing #15023) and now download from GPM fails entirely with "Unknown protocol" error (for me too) + the subsequent issues mentioned.

Re-opened https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view ... 133#c54230 and fixed in 2192

Re: Google sync - how do you fix bad uploads? [#15849]

Thanks, I've got the log and found the reason for these bugs.

I am going to fix this for 2192+

Thanks so far and have a great weekend!

Re: Google sync - how do you fix bad uploads? [#15849]

Ok, but I guess that also now (when everything is in GPM) and you click [Sync now] then it proceeds immediatelly, but the scan log reports did not import 4 files (did not match import criteria), isn't this the case? If yes, could you attach debug log of that?

Re: Google sync - how do you fix bad uploads? [#15849]

Did not import 4
I guess that this always reproducible if you press [Sync now] even without deleting anything from GPM?

If yes, could you catch it in debug log (item 4b here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=86643 ) ?

Re: Google sync - how do you fix bad uploads? [#15849]

Afterwards (before another sync), Music, All Tracks showed only HDD symbol, no cloud symbols at all. I guess those get updated only on a second sync? Or was it because this ended prematurely? As I wrote above. This is fixed in build 2191. As for the "premature termination" -- that's a pity that you...

Re: "The database file isn't fully compatible with MediaMonkey 4."

Did you install MM5 portable on the top of MM4 portable? Or did you specify custom DBName in the Mediamonkey.ini? Otherwise the default location for MM5 database is different, it is [user]/AppData/Roaming/ MediaMonkey5 /... We would see your DB path in debug log (can you generate one -- item 4b here...

My custom layout is not always respected, mostly after restarting my own layout and above mentioned views are set ...
