edit: though the expansion of intents prob pushes it along a bit, with the prevalence of tasker and NFC now as well.

You can already save a playlist shortcut to the home screen. AutoSync progress is shown in the statusbar in MediaMonkey. Ah I meant more like how often it tries to sync. e.g. does it try sync every 5 minutes? in which case It'd be good to be able to provoke it. (ofc if there was an intent could just set up an auto task to prod it however often you wanted ...
