Re: Cannot find Mediamonkey.ini nor *.mdb
Hello I have MM 2.5 and MM 3 Beta on my PC. Where does 3 Beta put the ini and mdb file? I renamed my Mediamonkey.ini and my Mediamonkey.mdb from 2.5. Than I started MM3 Beta and scanned some of my mp3 files. But I can't find a new Database. But when I close and restart MM3 Beta it still got the ...

B1 Pop-Up Problems w/Task Bar Locked & on Top, 2 Monitor
Of necessity, I keep my task bar locked & on top - due to the fact that I use Toolbars on the task bar. MM3 B1 correctly maximizes so that the bottom border of the full-sized player rests on the top of the task bar. However, the song-change pop-up still rests initially at the bottom of the screen ...

Re: B1 bug: Focus switching to MM window when track changes
This didn't happen in A7. <snip> I can be typing in this (and yes, it just happened!), when MM steals focus and brings it's window to the front whenever a new track starts. Really annoying.<snip>:( This is happening on my system, also, and the pop-up has a bit of a problem, too - but this is a ...

if you right click on one of the main nodes, do you not see "Options" and "Choose Tree Nodes"? Yes we see it. But it does not seem to work The nodes Artist, Album Artist and Conductor are greyed out. If I select them they are not greyed out, but they don't come up after a restart of MM. (And nodes ...

I almost wish I hadn't decided to test this. I have 2 monitors, and tried to stretch MM3A8 across two of them. It did in fact stretch across the two monitors, but would only go to the width of 1 monitor. In playing with it, I moved it back to 1 monitor and ended up somehow downsizing it in width ...

Re: 3.0.0.1066: Artiust & Album Artist node, Composer
After scanning in 2 albums with data in the Composer field, I opened the "Artist & Album Artist" node and was presented with nodes for Artists, Album Artists and to my surprise, Composer. The nodes created from Composer data are empty, but they show up in the Tree View. On a side note, I love the ...

Re: Tunes "crackle" in MM3 and not MM2
I have noticed that some tracks (not all, in fact, only a few) "crackle" when played in MM3, but not the exact same track in MM2. Specifically, the programs are: MM2: 2.5.5.996 MM3: 3.0.0.1057 The tracks in question are iTunes ripped m4a files record at 160 with VBR. Is this an issue that is known ...

Ripping Error
While ripping songs to MP3 from a CD last night, I received an error indicating that MM3A7 couldn't read a track (the last track) from the CD. The error seemed to loop. The choices were cancel, retry and ignore, all of which simply brought the error back over and over. I closed MM3 using task ...

Re: MM 1057 - Burn Errors
While burning 18 songs to Cd (55min Total) The progress bar showed process burning fourth item in list, then an error message popped up saying there was a burn error and gave error code "264195". Click options were to Retry or quit. I quit process in order to look at CD. All 18 tracks appear as ...

When reading the following, keep in mind that my operating system is XP Pro and that I have no idea as to Vista differences. The MM3 database is the one located in a subfolder under the \user\local settings\application data\mediamonkey folder, and it s/b named mm.db. I really believe that the other ...
