According to Ludek's reply above, the UPnP search will be available in MM 4.1.

Re: [request] MM4 - UPNP Search Library support

I was about to ask the same question: I am using BubbleUPnP player (Android) which can search in DLNA/UPnP server library but it looks like MM4 don't support it Seems that this specific question was not answered though. The question was not about support of BubbleUPnp, but about the support of searc...

How to mass-fix errors in Virtual CD paths?

For a long time, I've not been able to play some tracks from the virtual CD. Although the files are present, MediaMonkey skips the track as if it was unavailable. So today, I have downloaded SQLite Database Browser to try to understand why this would happen. And it appears that some tracks from the ...

Re: Merging two composers fails

Have you tried in 1129 ? Thanks for the suggestion, the problem is indeed fixed in 1129. There is a slight regression though: now, after renaming (1) to (2), node (2) appears twice. But both nodes show the same (and correct) content, and closing and reopening the "Composers" node eliminates the dup...

Merging two composers fails

MM3.0.1.1127 / Windows Vista FR I have two entries for the same composer, as below: (1) Beethoven (2) Beethoven, Ludwig van Some of my tracks are using (1), others are using (2). My goal is to merge these two entries into one. Under the "composer" nodes, I select (1) and rename it so that it is name...

SQL error

Hi, Using either of beta 2 or beta 3 version, I regularly get this kind of error: There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL: "select sum(cnt) as cnt FROM (SELECT count(*) as cnt FROM Songs WHERE NormalizeTrack < -99999 AND UNION SELECT count(*) as cnt FROM Songs WHERE NormalizeA...

Limiting filenames length

Hi, I am working with some tracks that have a very long title (over 200 characters), and I'm using the following mask in the Auto-organize (Ctrl+R) dialog: "<Track>. <Title>" (to rename the files accordingly). The problem is that in some cases, the renaming can't occur because of the file systems li...

PS. Windows Vista is not supported with the MediaMonkey 2.x versions. MediaMonkey 3.0 should support Windows Vista. Yes, it is not really a bug since this OS isn't officially supported. This message would have better fit in the "News and other stuff" board, sorry. But my main point was that MediaMo...

Thanks Peke, I had not paid attention to CDReader options. The default was SPTI, but unfortunately using Win32 or ASPI doesn't fix the problem.
Actually I am wondering if CDReader is involved, since the error message occurs when trying to view the CD's content.

MM 2.5.4 with Windows Vista

Today, I have evaluated how MM runs on Windows Vista, and so far so good... well almost. The only problem I have encountered is that MM is unable to access the CD drives (with an unhelpful message such as "Could not find drive F:"), unless you launch the program with Administrator privileges. (For t...

Auto-tagging: problem with album art on a CD-ROM

(MM 2.5 RC-1) I usually use the "auto-tagging from Amazon" feature to add album arts to albums, and save the file to the album folder. But when an album is on a CD-ROM, and doesn't allow me to save the picture to the album folder, I have tried to save the album art to a common folder "My Music/Media...

iPod sync: needless copy of VCD files

(MM RC-1) Hi, I have two albums on a CD-ROM that I've placed also to the virtual CD, and in the synchronization list of my iPod. Each time I synchronize the iPod, the content of these two albums (which never change) is copied again to the iPod. Not that it takes much time, but it would be best if it...

Thanks, the new dll fixes the weird name issue. From a quick glance at other iPod functions there doesn't seem to be any regression.
