Re: Ratings Changes Do Not Sync Back to P.C./MMonkey (80gb i
Hi, for some reason when I change a rating on the iPod and then connect and sync to MM the ratings will not sync. Everything else seems to be working fine. Playlists sync ok and any deletions get deleted etc. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this? Thank you... You have to terminate iTunes and ...

Thanks for all the feedback. I do think the iPod knows that the song has been played. When I view the song from the iPod node, the playcount and timestamp indicate that the song has been played. It's just that the information doesn't sync back to the MM library. Alex Right. Check the drive when it ...

What version of MM? MM 2.x only supports playback of m4a files (not tagging or metadata), while mm3 more fully supports m4a files. I wasn't able to convert m4a > mp3 in 3 though. Is this not supported (yet)? You can, at least with Apple Lossless M4A which is what mine uses. The only thing it doesn ...

I think this thread matches yours: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24942&highlight=copy+ipod and it looks like they're working on it. I don't know if that's really it, tho. This option is turned off on mine (OK, well it's set to confirm before doing any updates and hasn't confirmed ...

Re: Apple Lossless and MediaMonkey Auto-Conversion
I have 200GB of Apple Lossless files. I have an 80GB iPod Classic. I'm using MediaMonkey 3.0.1.1127 I would like to auto-convert my ALAC files to V0 MP3 for use on my iPod. But I can't figure out how to make the correct Auto-Conversion Rule. I do not see ALAC or Apple Lossless on the list. I tried ...

Not with this script, but with it's successor "Batch Art Finder" it is certainly possible to do this. Well, it doesn't replace artwork, it allows you to add extra artwork. OK. BAF is the one I'm using. Do you have anything that can strip out the Album Art? Or does anyone know of a program that can ...

Re: Why are all of the simple things missing???
Hi i just purchased MM gold, I impressed at the structure and advanced tools incorporated in t hye programme but they seem toi have overlooked the extremely basic things that other programmes have down to a T. For example the major problem in my view is that vene thought there have been many ...

MM not updating Playcounts from your iPod? Try this....
Here's what I found with mine: If iTunes or the iPodService grabs the iPod first, it will use the PlayCount file and delete it. If you terminate iPodService and iTunes, first make sure MediaMonkey is running and then connect your iPod. This will let MM to grab the file first and update its ...

Mine doesn't update the playcount either when playing through MM. It seems that it's an iPod function. The iPod doesn't create the PlayCount file MM seems to need to update the play counts when it's playing through the computer. The system probably just downloads the file onto the PC and plays it ...

Re: Autoconversion for iPod Sync is Slow and Inaccurate
I have about 140GB of mostly FLAC files on my computer. I'm using autoconversion to create V0 MP3 files when syncing to my 80GB iPod Classic. This is taking DAYS to complete. And what's worse, when I stop MM and restart autoconversion/sync, the whole process starts over! I started about a week ago ...

Re: Auto-Sync confusion...
I'm having some trouble figuring out some really basic sync issues - I hope someone out there can help. I'm using an iriver clix2 portable device. When I connect my device to my pc, and turn on MediaMonkey, it automatically starts to sync. When I look in the menu under Tools > Sync Device... there ...

I'm having exactly the same problem with my Ipod 80gig. Also it is converting the files to Mp3 but all my music files are already Mp3!!! Heeeelp. Any suggestions gladly welcomed. Check the Auto-Conversion tab. There was one that forces all the MP3s to be 128kbps. Make sure it's not on and that it's ...
